MOSCOW, April 25. /TASS/. Russia and China will strengthen strategic cooperation and jointly resist attempts to establish hegemony on the international arena, Chinese Ambassador in Moscow Zhang Hanhui said on Monday at the China-Russia Relations - Limitless Future youth forum.
"No matter how the international situation changes, China and Russia will always persistently deepen strategic cooperation, to stand shoulder to shoulder for international justice, oppose hegemony and power politics, promote the construction of a new type of international relations and community of humanity's common destiny to make a greater constructive contribution to the improvement of global governance, and maintain stability in the entire world," he said. The ambassador said that the joint statement by Russia and China on international relations entering a new era and global sustainable development, signed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Beijing in February, has an important impact on improving global governance in the new realities.
Zhang Hanhui emphasized that Sino-Russian relations are at an unprecedentedly high level. "Bilateral trade turnover has exceeded $148 billion, with an annual growth rate of more than 35%," he said, "Great results were achieved in cooperation in such spheres as energy, finance, digital economy, high technology, aerospace, transport and logistics, agriculture and cultural and humanitarian field."
According to him, a number of strategic large-scale projects are successfully implemented. "Multifaceted mutually beneficial cooperation demonstrates great potential and advantages," the diplomat added.

China Lockdown Amps Up Inflation Scare for Global Markets
By Alice Gledhill
April 25, 2022
The inflation scare that’s dominated much of the investment backdrop this year keeps finding new ways to send shockwaves through markets.
On Monday, investors awoke to the idea of China locking down Beijing -- a city of more than 20 million people -- adding to worries about supply stresses that are keeping the heat on prices. U.S. stocks fell as much as 2.9%, the most since early March, following a decline in European equities. A rush for havens saw U.S. Treasuries, European bonds and the dollar rally.
“Inflation is definitely front and center of investors’ concern, and of course the China story feeds further into that inflation pressure because China is the mother of all supply chains,” said Janet Mui, head of market analysis at Brewin Dolphin. “That concern is intensifying across the board, whether you are talking about the goods side or the services side.”

“We want to see Russia weakened to a degree that it can’t do the kinds of things it has done in invading Ukraine” – said Lloyd Austin on his press-conference in Poland as broadcasted by NBC.
Well, in turn we have every right now to see America weakened to a degree that it can’t do the things it has done in invading:
Cuba in 1906
Nicaragua in 1912
Haiti in 1915
Dominican Republic in 1916
Germany (Dresden) in 1945
Japan in 1945
Korea in 1950
Lebanon in 1958
Vietnam in 1964
Cambodia in 1967
Panama in 1989
Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992
Yugoslavia in 1999
Libya in 2011 (and again later)
Iraq in 2003
Pakistan in 2004
Syria in 2014
Afghanistan in 2001 … until recent time
The list could be continued….

The Dutch Forum voor Democratie party got interested in the origins of Ukrainian President Zelensky's fortune, estimated $850 million, as states their Twitter on Monday.
"Zelensky has a huge fortune: according to various estimates, it is about 850 million [dollars]," it says. "And he did not receive most of it until he became president." "So how did he get this money? And more importantly, where does it go?" the party asks.
It is increasingly evident that Zelensky is a faux hero, a mere crook

Denis Monada, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, states: "We irrevocably condemn this misfortunate and false dependence on the State Department of Yankee Imperialism.
We will not take part in the activities of any OAS instance, this devilish instrument. The offices of this disgraceful organization will not operate in our country.
Nicaragua is not someone's colony, not a part of the Ministry of Colonies. The heroic people of blessed and eternally free Nicaragua expel the OAS as Augusto Nicolas Sandino once expelled the Yankee Marines from this free and sovereign country".

Report on Downing Street Parties Deepens Crisis for Boris Johnson
LONDON — A long-awaited report on parties in Downing Street during the pandemic dealt Prime Minister Boris Johnson a stinging blow on Monday, condemning him for failed leadership and painting a damning picture of “excessive” workplace drinking in the inner sanctum of the British government.
Mr. Johnson had hoped the release of the 11-page document would allow him to put a festering scandal over illicit parties behind him. But instead he was battered in Parliament, facing a new round of questions about his personal participation in social gatherings that appear to have violated lockdown rules meant to stop the spread of Covid-19.

MOSCOW, April 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has excoriated the ongoing US-led Western crusade to ‘cancel’ Russia as "sanctions aggression". That being said, he highlighted the fact that Russian business has been acting very honorably under the current conditions.
"Russian business has acted very respectably," Putin said, speaking on Monday at an expanded meeting of the Board of the Prosecutor General's Office. "Even though not all small and medium-sized companies had fully gotten over the consequences of the pandemic yet, they immediately came up against barriers associated with the sanctions aggression against Russia. In fact, there is no other name for it but sanctions aggression," Putin emphasized.
The head of state believes that "in the current situation, it is necessary to support Russian business as much as possible, to use all opportunities for this, including easing the administrative burden."

Witch-hunting: Ukraine-style.
Hungarians in Ukraine say Russia’s invasion has brought new suspicions of their community – and new hardships.
The community lives on Ukrainian soil, but their language and culture have sometimes fit uneasily within a country seeking to sculpt an independent national identity, in particular since the protests of 2013 and 2014 that saw a broad public rejection of closer ties with Russia.
Now, Hungarians in Ukraine say Russia’s invasion has brought new suspicions of their community – and new hardships. People interviewed by The Globe and Mail described state security questioning them over social media posts deemed to contain “separatist” content.
One person said they had been held at gunpoint for two hours at a checkpoint after delivering humanitarian goods – their licence plate indicated they were from Zakarpattia. In one home, people collected mobile phones and moved them to a different room when the conversation turned to the war, fearing security services might be listening.
“Everyone is sitting at home afraid,” said Viki Tarpai, a Hungarian actor who grew up in Ukraine. “You don’t need to do anything that is really separatist in order to be called one. It can happen to anyone at any time.”
The Globe was shown a large stack of conscription notices in one village where the mayor has been instructed to hand them out to every male of fighting age. Hungarians say they believe their communities have seen greater conscription demands than other parts of Ukraine
