'CleanBrowsing Free DNS
CleanBrowsing offers three free DNS filters that can be configured on your router or device to block certain types of content. Here are the details for each filter:
Family Filter: Blocks access to all adult, pornographic, and explicit sites. It also blocks proxy and VPN domains used to bypass the filters, and mixed content sites like Reddit. Safe search is enforced for Google, Bing, and YouTube, and malicious and phishing domains are blocked. The IPv4 addresses for the Family Filter are 185.228.168.168 and 185.228.169.168.23
Adult Filter: Blocks access to all adult, pornographic, and explicit sites without blocking proxy or VPNs, nor mixed-content sites. Sites like Reddit are allowed, and Safe Search is enforced for Google and Bing. Malicious and phishing domains are blocked. The IPv4 addresses for the Adult Filter are 185.228.168.10 and 185.228.169.11.23
Security Filter: Blocks access to phishing, spam, malware, and malicious domains. This filter updates its database of malicious domains hourly and does not block adult content. The IPv4 addresses for the Security Filter are 185.228.168.9 and 185.228.169.9.23
To configure these filters, you need to change your DNS settings on your router or device to use the provided IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, or use the HostName provided for each filter.23 CleanBrowsing also supports DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS for added security.23
