Please do not trust or use any app that "Tweaks Windows®" or "Removes Bloatware of Windows®" unless you have downloaded it from a trusted source (eg: GitHub, the only recommended place to download tweak scripts and programs from, as they are open-source)


Most of these programs contains malware and sometimes ... They are the malware themselves. I used a tool called "WinTweakerPro" which I downloaded from a trusted site and I was shocked from what I have seen.

At first it's installation process was normal, but in the middle of installation it offered me to install some unknown stuff that I haven't heard about and I will never need to install them, so I skipped them, and it installed itself.
I opened the program after it finished installation, and it looked like a legit tweak program (and yeah, it asked me to buy premium subscription)
The scripts there and stuff there makes you feel that you aren't dealing with a malware, you are dealing with a real Windows® Tweaker! I did some stuff there, like clearing ram and stuff. Once I closed the app, I began to feel sus. Luckily MemReduct could help me make sure there is something wrong. I opened the task manager and "AYO HEY YOU, COME HERE, DON'T ESCAPE", what I saw basically was a coin miner virus called XregMiner, it hides and stops mining once I open task manager, I rushed to settings and now I have uninstalled that tweaker, but still didn't get rid of that miner.

So, that's it, the moral of this : don't use a software from unknown source, even if it is trusted, scan it before opening it
