The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has officially opened applications for its Scholarship Programs for the 2026–2027 academic year.

These programs are designed to support human capital development, sustainable growth, and access to higher education for students from IsDB Member Countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries.

Available scholarship programs
• Undergraduate Scholarship Program
For students from Muslim communities in non-member countries (launched in 1983)
• Master of Science (MSc) Scholarship Program
For students from Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs)
Created to strengthen academic and professional capacity where access to graduate education is limited
• Merit Scholarship Program (PhD & Postdoctoral Research)
Focused on applied sciences and high technology, supporting research capacity in Member Countries

🌍 Summer Research Programme in China for Students

The Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists (GRIPS) is a fully funded summer research initiative for undergraduate and master’s students with a strong interest in pursuing an academic or research career.

Participants undertake 5–6 weeks of intensive research under the supervision of a Principal Investigator at leading Chinese universities, including Zhejiang University, Fudan University, the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and Nanjing University. The programme combines hands-on laboratory work with structured academic mentoring.

Applications are open to full-time students with a minimum CGPA equivalent to a B grade who have completed at least two years of study.
