And we imagined where Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen might have gone if he had decided to pursue a career not only on the track but also at university.

➡️ Background
Max is a four-time world champion who has dedicated his entire life to motorsport. He has thousands of hours on the track, but lacks the experience of a traditional university education. His interests lie in two areas: engineering (he has always been involved in the technical aspects of the car) and sports management (how to build a champion team outside the cockpit).

➡️What would he do with advisor?

Advisors would suggest that universities with strong engineering schools would be suitable for this profile—for example, TU Delft in the Netherlands or Imperial College London.

For sports management, we recommended business schools with programs in Sport Management & Business Strategy, such as the University of Liverpool or ESADE in Barcelona.

🔗We developed a pitch strategy: using his achievements in Formula 1 as a key example of leadership, teamwork, and stress resilience.
🔗We helped prepare a motivation letter, in which Max explains his desire to apply his experience as a driver to technology development and team management.
🔗We compiled a list of documents and organized the application process so that his sports background would be an advantage: letters of recommendation from the Red Bull Racing team, confirmation of participation in international projects, and certificates.

As a result, Max can receive offers from both the engineering program and the sports management program. The jury's first check is your experience outside of school. It's important to show that you're not just a student, but a proactive person.

- Choose projects related to peace, equality, law, economics, and sustainable development.
- Emphasize leadership: when you led a team, mentored newcomers, or organized a process.
- Show social impact: what changed thanks to your actions? (For example: "organized a series of human rights workshops for 50 schoolchildren").

Tip: Don't list your entire activity list. Choose 2-3 of the most compelling ones and elaborate on them.

✨ 2. The motivation letter is the heart of your application
The jury reads it first. Therefore, it's important not just to say "I want to participate," but also:

- State your goal: what global problem do you want to solve and how will the summit help?
- Show a connection to your professional track (for example, "my future career in diplomacy requires international experience").
- Mention social activities that support your expertise.
- Answer: What can you bring to the summit? Experience, ideas, a project, a skill.
