Over the last couple of weeks, Russian forces intensified their assault operations, making new progress in the area of the large forests north of Sumy.
In the west, Russian forces gained a foothold in the northeastern part of Korchakivka and improved their positions in the forest to the east, where they are now trying to reach the northern outskirts of Nova Sich and enter the large forest to the north. Other assault groups deepened their infiltrations to the south, moving through the forests to the northern outskirts of Ivolzhanske and the western outskirts of Nova Sich.
