The IDF announced that 4 Israeli soldiers from the 52nd armoured Battalion of the 401st armoured brigade were killed in recent fighting with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, including a Lieutenant Colonel.
They were likely during attempts to capture the Aali Et Taher Heights near Nabaiteh, where Hezbollah claimed to have struck 3 Merkava tanks with ATGMs.

During the night, 4 Russian Tu-22m3 strategic bombers redeployed from Olenya Airbase to Engels-2 Airbase, where they are being equipped with Kh-22/32 cruise missiles.
These bombers will likely take part in the upcoming combined Russian missile and drone attack.
Additionally, more deliveries of Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles took place recently, while Geran-2/Gerbera drones continue to be accumulated at all major launch points near Ukraine.
7 Tu-95MS (2 at Engels-2 Airbase, 5 at Olenya Airbase) and 2-3 Tu-160M strategic bombers (at Ukrainka Airbase) are also equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles.
All signs point towards the next large-scale attack taking place this weekend, however this will become clearer closer to the time.
