Thank you to all who came tonight, it was an amazing showing for such short notice! Your voices were a powerful statement and they will inspire others to stand up.
The decision tonight was inevitable.
Boards that have pledged allegiance to a party will vote how they are told no matter the cost to their communities.
They will continue to use the state of emergency to keep dissenting opinions out of the room while they attempt to remove that dissent from society with legislation and intimidation.
Are we going to accept the situation we are in? Or are we going to accept the responsibility to change it?
Most of us do not have a clear path forward right now but we know that path is forward.
The future of our community will depend on the hard work and sacrifices we will make now.
Sunday at 3pm we will have a general meeting at the Sunken Garden in Santa Barbara for all members of the Santa Barbara County community who want to unite and work together in these critical times.
