NEW POOL TYPE 📣

To our STABLZ Community,

We are delighted to announce that STABLZ has integrated a new pool with Arcadeum on the Arbitrum chain. This integration has been long-awaited by our community, and we are excited to finally offer this new pool to our users. This new pool will be going live over the weekend, estimated to be March 5, midnight UTC! (March 4 going into the 5th)

Arbitrum is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, and it is designed to offer faster and cheaper transactions than the Ethereum network. By integrating with Arcadeum on Arbitrum, we are providing our users with a more efficient and cost-effective way to deposit USDT and earn a higher APY.

Currently, the ALP pool has a whopping 44% APY blowing the current Curve pools out of the water! However, Arcadeum's pool is capped at 500,000 USDT deposited. Therefore, new depositors may access this pool's yield via our new integrated pool instead! We will still take the usual platform fee on this pool. This means that fees earned on Arbitrum will then be distributed on the ETH rewards pools for OS staking!

We believe that the Arcadeum pool on Arbitrum will significantly enhance the experience to those involved with us at STABLZ, and we look forward to continuing to provide our community with the best possible DeFi services.

Re: USDC

Circle is affected by 3.3B held in backing in SVB. However, the rest of the 90% in backing is in other banks or cash or cash equivalents. They also have a healthy relationship with the US Gov't.

We will wait until monday if any new information comes out.

A strong reason for why it is currently at $0.90 is because Coinbase halted USDC:USD conversions this weekend. Not sure how they were able to fulfill those before as most banks don't operate on weekends. Once conversions resume Monday, we should see things going back to normal.

📣 $STABLZ CHECK IN

It is clear there’s been some concern about USDC and the current market situation today. However stability is in the name and as always, $STABLZ is here to provide just that.

Today our depeg protection successfully detected that there was a mismatch between the approximate $1 expected value for USDC and DAI, and notified us promptly. Nonetheless, the depeg was not enough for our threshold to shut down pools.

This is great news as it means that our system reacted promptly and is working consistently/efficiently. If it had reached the proper depeg threshold, it would have likely shutdown pools and withdrawn all deposits as non-depegged assets to ensure the safety of our users.

We hope this brings some reassurance to our users and as always…

ANOTHER NEW POOL 📣

STABLZ Family,

We are delighted to announce that we have yet another pool going live on Thursday at 9PM UTC, this time being the RWA (Real world asset) pool we mentioned on our spaces!

Cannavest is a new pool on STABLZ that allows depositors to invest USDT, which is then locked up for a year in exchange for non-tradable receipt tokens, and a USDT yield of 30% APR.

The receipt token holders will receive their yield in weekly airdrops paid in USDT. Additionally, Cannavest will have an OTC portion on the STABLZ website, where people can buy/sell their Cannavest positions, even if the pool cap is hit. Some users could sell their positions for a profit as holding these receipt tokens entitle the holder to the following weeks’ interest earned.

The business profile for Cannavest will be revealed tomorrow! All of the yield will come from a real business being a cannabis farm located in Thailand. Each new RWA pool will always have a short document detailing what the business is and where the yield comes from.
