One year ago, I started making things for Solace Creations as a way to cope with grief and had no idea what I was going to do with the things I made. Now, I'm selling my work at a physical location in a humble little vendor spot and I couldn't be more proud!

These runestones are handmade from natural clay, hand carved and painted, and then sealed for longevity. This particular set features two concentric victory laurels, along with cascading blossoms and petals. On the back of each stone, the rune, along with its Icelandic name, is painted to match the carved rune on the front. Each set of runestones comes with a small 100% cotton bag, fit for both carrying the stones, and for use in ritual.

My Allegory of Spring piece is slowly coming along! I promise she won't look so goth by the time she's finished. 😆
I wanted to break away from realism with this piece and just have fun with some bold line work for sort of a stained glass effect. Will embellish with engraving pen, gold leaf, real pressed flowers, and perhaps some soft colored pencil (we'll see).

WIP! I'll be adding gold leaf to the halo and the rays, as well as real dried pressed flowers and leaves to the crown and bottom torched area... possibly also some fungi 🍄 but we'll see.
