The Thee Hundred

The Claim: the 155th Brigade of the Russian marine infantry lost 300 men as wounded, killed, and missing in action in fighting at Pavlovka.

The Russian Ministry of Defence Response: The losses are significantly overstated, the losses of the Brigade constituted 1% KIA and 7% WIA. Most of the 7% WIA have already recovered and returned to battle.

The Renewed Claim: Ah-ha, well the Brigade is 3300 men at full strength, so 1% + 7% = 8% = 264 men killed and wounded (or 33 KIA and 231 WIA).

The Breakdown:

First of all, this is exactly what the reports indicated, that no more than 30 Russian marine infantry of the 155th Brigade lost their lives in the Pavlovka attack. Reports further indicated that the actual number of KIA was between 10 and 30.

Second, the “renewed claim” math only works if the Brigade is assumed to have been at full strength. This is false. From the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict many of the Russian units were understaffed, sometimes severely. This continues to be the case, and the Brigade was not at full strength in Pavlovka fighting.

Accordingly, the truth is definitely somewhere in between the “300 claim” and the MoD rebuttal, but more likely than not it is closer to the MoD numbers. This is confirmed by terse statements from Igor Mangushev.

Colleagues, 155th Brigade just couldn't get that many combat-ready men [GB: to have lost 300]. As of mid-October, when I went on leave, that's for sure was the case. I doubt the situation has changed in two weeks. Cut the losses by three times—I agree, it could happen. But 300 people means that the brigade is gone and there is no one to write letters to. And they wouldn't have gotten into Pavlovka.

There were never hundreds of mobilized men under Pavlovka. If there had been, Pavlovka would've been crushed to hell. On the contrary, there are no men. Definitely not hundreds. There's no place to put them in Pavlovka.

Case closed, in my opinion. The losses of 100 (all in), with an approximate breakdown of 10-20 KIA and 80-90 WIA appears to be closer to truth.

The US has less than 10 years left, if financial analyst Martin Armstrong is to be believed. In an interview over the weekend, he said his computer models show major domestic unrest in the US next year and that the entire monetary system is collapsing. Fraud is so rampant, he alleges, that whether the elections are fair or not, neither major party will be willing to accept their results as legitimate.

“The United States will not exist after 2032. After 2028 and 2029, we are going to have to redesign a government from scratch. America is being destroyed,” Armstrong said.

Now, you may attack his credibility (Wikipedia already does), and doubt the timeline, but... if you actually live in the US, you know that what he's saying more or less accurately reflects the state of affairs. It didn't have to be this way, but here we are.

✈️ Tu-95MS pilots from Amur Long-Range Aviation Formation have practised flights in complicated meteorological conditions.

💥 In Kupyansk direction, 2 enemy battalion tactical groups, supported by foreign mercenaries, had been conducting offensive operations towards Nizhnyaya Duvanka and Svatovo (LPR).

1. #Donetsk Direction:

"Sparta" declares completion of liberation of #Donetsk Airport territory and displacement of the enemy forces from the remaining fortifications there.
Fighting continues for #Vodyanoye and #Pervomayskoye and for fortifications in #Opytnoye. The enemy continued shelling #Donetsk during the day.

2. #Ugledar:

Positional fighting continued near #Novomikhailovka and #Pavlovka without significant progress. The enemy was able to stabilize the front, due to which the pace of our offensive decreased.
We failed to take #Pavlovka in a single blow and immediately reach the route to #Ugledar, at least for now.
There were no significant changes at #Maryinka.

3. #Soledar:

There are no changes in the city itself, street battles are taking place.
Progress is reported in the battle for #Belgorovka, where our troops have again entered and are fighting to clear the settlement.
There is no change in the area of #Spornoye.

4. #Svatovo:

The enemy made several attempts to attack, but failed to advance, suffering tangible losses.
The #Kremennaya - #Svatovo highway is under enemy artillery fire, but the enemy has not been able to cut it off completely or even reach it.
The Russian Armed Forces continue to resolve the tasks of stabilizing this section of the front.

5. #Kherson:

No significant changes. The enemy continues to probe the front line of our troops, but has not yet launched a full-scale offensive, expecting some kind of catch associated with various rumors of #Kherson abandonment in connection with the destruction of the #Kakhovka hydropower plant.
The evacuation of civilians to the left bank of the #Dnipro River also officially ends today. The city itself continues to experience power outages due to the blowing up of power lines by enemy SRGs.

🩸 The AFU command continues to move infantry units and equipment into the #Berislav area ahead of the next phase of the offensive against #Kherson.

The main goal at the moment is to achieve a numerical superiority in personnel many times over. According to #Kherson residents, the offensive could begin (continue) in the next two to three days.

#Nikolaev Sector:

▪️ Artillery and mortar crews of the 28th Mechanized and 59th Motorized Infantry AFU Brigades are shelling Russian positions.

#Andreevka - #Berislav Sector:

▪️ The AFU is redeploying forces near #Bereznegovatoye railway station and Davydov Brod.

▪️ Nearly all barrel and reactive artillery have been withdrawn from #Bereznegovatoye village, two SAU and one SAM remain in the village itself. A field hospital has been established near the village.

▪️ At the same time, almost all combat-ready units from the Krivoy Rog area, from the second echelon and the deep hinterland, are being moved to the line between #Petropavlovka and #Chervonoye.

▪️ Russian troops attacked AFU positions near #Bereznevegovatoye, killing more than a dozen people.

#Belgorod Region:

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled the border town of #Grayvoron. Damage to residential buildings and a transformer, no casualties.

#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector, the sides are engaged in positional fighting in the vicinity of the village of #Yagodnoye near #Ivanovka.

▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, AFU units are trying to break through the Russian defences near the village of #Kuzemovka.

➖ An AFU assault group launched an attack from the direction of #Berestovoye on #Nevelskoye. The Russian forces carried out preemptive strikes against the enemies, forcing them to retreat to their initial positions with losses.

▪️ In the Lyman sector, assault groups of the 66th Mechanized AFU Brigade attacked the Russian positions in the direction of #Makeyevka and #Chervonopopovka. The Russian forces repulsed the attack and the enemy withdrew.

➖ Ukrainian units advanced stealthily from the #Zherebets River side to the #Svatovo - #Kremennaya route. The Russian forces ambushed the AFU militants and forced them to hastily retreat to their initial positions with concentrated artillery fire.

➖ The AFU attempted an offensive in the forest belt towards #Ploshchanka but failed and retreated.

#Soledar Direction:

▪️ Fighting continues in the outskirts of #Bakhmut, #Opytnoye and #Spornoye. Wagner PMC troops broke through the enemy forward lines and entered #Belogorovka on the #Bakhmut - #Lysychansk highway.

▪️ At the same time, units of the LPR People's Militia and Akhmat Regiment entered another (!) #Belogorovka near #Seversk. The capture of the settlement will allow access to #Seversk from the northeastern direction.

#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ There are no significant changes in the #Ugledar Sekror. Positional fighting continues in #Pavlovka, as well as near #Maryinka and #Novomikhailovka.

▪️ Fighters of the DPR Sparta Battalion have completed the clearing of #Donetsk Airport. Battles continue for #Vodyanoye, #Pervomayskoye and fortifications in #Opytnoye.

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled residential areas and civilian infrastructure in #Donetsk. A 14-year-old girl was killed in Petrovsky district. Enemy militants also shelled #Kashtanovoye, #Panteleymonovka, #Mikhailovka and other settlements of the agglomeration.

#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ Artillery duels continue in #Zaporozhye region along the line of contact, with Russian forces striking enemy positions in #Gulyaypole, #Olgovskoye, #Shcherbaki and #Dorozhnyanka.

Artillery from the 11th Regiment of the DPR People's Militia destroyed a towed 152-mm Msta-B howitzer of the AFU near the village of #Tonenkoye, west of the #Avdeevka fortified area.

The Ukrainian howitzer was deployed towards residential areas of #Donetsk and was used to fire on civilian objects.

This is not the first time artillery systems have been destroyed near #Tonenkoye. "Msta-B" is capable of hitting at a distance of up to 30 kilometres with various ammunition.

These fighters have been professionally destroying Ukrainian militants since the beginning of the SMO. We have already shown you gun battles with their participation, and now you will see the denazification of two Ukrainian BMP-1s near #Spornoye village.

The nationalists hid in a wooded area, camouflaging the military equipment, but it did not help. It was possible to determine their exact location using a drone. The coordinates were relayed to an artillery crew and live fire was opened. The dugouts where the militants were located were not saved either- the 4th Brigade's shells reached the target.

#Spornoye remains strategically important in the north of the DPR - the road to #Lysychansk runs along this front section. The Rebels are trying to make breakthroughs, but are met with stiff resistance each time.
