Today I saw with my own eyes #Ochakov and the island of #Pervomayskiy, where the 73rd Naval Special Operations Centre of the AFU was originally based. Which, under the watchful eye of British handlers, orchestrated the recent drone raid on #Sevastopol.
According to official information there are no military facilities on the island now. But this is not certain. Movement there is constantly noted by our intelligence.
#Ochakov and the island can be seen with the naked eye from Kinburnskaya spit. I didn't see the strikes on the town that the Ministry of Defence had hovered over, but I heard them as we drove deep into the spit. I was advised not to stay long at the shooting spot by members of the Don Cossack Brigade, whom I visited.

Following the attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet, the Russian Ministry of Defence has announced the suspension of the so-called "Grain Deal" on the removal of food from Ukrainian ports. Components of weapons and military equipment were being brought in on Ukrainian ships, which were released and allowed into ports under the pretext of food exports.
As the process was extremely profitable for many countries - from Turkey, whose authorities profited from speculation by reselling grain, to EU and NATO countries, whose representatives profited from defence contracts - "world condemnation" was not long in coming.
🩸 The main leitmotif was an imaginary concern for the needs of people in starving countries. We have already written that this is a lie and manipulation.
▪️ Zelensky said that 176 ships were already piling up in the sea corridor, unable to deliver food to seven million people. If the deal is not extended, poor countries could suffer, he said.
▪️ The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry asked the Turkish authorities, representatives of the UN, which also act as guarantors of the deal, to intervene. The diplomats also suggested turning to Russia for those countries that suffer from the lack of supplies.
▪️ The funny thing is that even the obvious initiators and participants of the attack on the Russian fleet (representatives of NATO countries) also urged Russia not to pull out of the deal. They said the Russian side was using food as a weapon.
▪️ And the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry called for a military escort for ships leaving Ukrainian ports.
🩸 Even earlier, Russia spoke about a possible rejection of the extension of the deal, which expires in early November. Russian President Vladimir Putin said he would withdraw from it if it was confirmed that the explosives used to blow up the Crimean bridge were delivered by ship.
Even the UN admits that only half of the exported grain reaches developing countries - the rest goes to developed countries, and it is often impossible to trace the final destinations (or rather, no one needs to).

Naturally, Ankara will hold on to it to the last.
The whole "Grain Deal" is made to butter up the Turks: they have the biggest flour-milling industry, which works on Ukrainian and Russian grain. Ankara made a very good profit on it.
In exchange, the Russian side received unhindered access to goods from abroad, transiting through Turkey directly to the Russian market. In addition, there were assurances of a "reduction" of direct and indirect support for Ukraine.
So the Syrian fighters were held back so that they would not flee en masse to Ukraine. They delivered fewer Bayraktars and Kirpis than planned.
From an economic point of view, the 'grain deal' was beneficial for us too. But it became too much in the way for military and political reasons.
If all parties had respected the rules of the game, things would have continued to go on. But as we can see, the Ukrainians and the British did not like the "status quo".

Units and formations of the 29th Combined Arms Army, the 68th Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces and the People's Militia of the DPR continue their offensive in the #Ugledar direction.
▪️ Approximately 60% of the village of #Pavlovka has been cleared so far. According to military correspondent Evgeniy Poddubny, Russian forces have managed to take control of the crossings near the #Kashgalach River. This means that the AFU still controls the state farm on the other bank, while scattered pockets of resistance remain in the village itself.
▪️ The enemy moved reinforcements overnight. At least six Bogdan howitzers, several APCs and AFU tanks arrived on the outskirts of the village. It is likely that additional positions will now be hastily established on the path of the Russian advance towards #Ugledar.
▪️ The further advance of the Russian troops is hampered by bad weather and the nature of the terrain. The multi-storey buildings in #Ugledar are equipped with firing positions and observation posts of the AFU, which offer the possibility of firing and correcting fire on #Pavlovka.
▪️ Russian forces continue to advance south of #Novomikhailovka, where, as evidenced by South Wind, the intersection of the 72nd and 79th AFU Brigade defences is under fire.
▪️ In the past 24 hours, the strikes of Russian Group V destroyed more than 120 enemy personnel, 2 tanks, 3 BMPs, 3 armoured vehicles, 4 pickup trucks and 5 vehicles.

🔎 In the context of this morning's missile raid on critical targets in Ukraine, Rybar's team decided to present their analysis of the frequency of Iranian Shahed 131 and 136 ("Geran-1" and "Geran-2") UAVs.
We have produced a detailed map showing both the chronology and the specific areas where the use of the kamikaze UAVs has been recorded. This report primarily records the days when the Geranium UAVs were used. Based on open sources alone, it is not possible to calculate the exact number of UAVs involved in any particular raid.
▪️ The absolute record holder for the use of Geraniums was the #Nikolaev region: our team recorded 26 Geranium strikes.
▪️ Second place went to #Odessa Oblast (20 strikes).

In footage published by "Turned to War", a Russian Ka-52 helicopter destroys two AFU combat vehicles southeast of the village of #Pavlovka in the Ugledar direction using the Vikhr anti-tank missile system.
Judging by the time of flight of the missiles, both launches were made from a range of 7-8 kilometres. As a result of the fire, at least one BMP was completely destroyed due to the detonation of its ammunition.
At the moment, Russian troops are successfully advancing in the Ugledar direction. Units of the DPR People's Militia and the Russian 29th Army are completing the clearing of #Pavlovka and destroying the rear positions of the Ukrainian troops.

An Su-24M bomber will move to Poland in the coming days from the airfield of the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force in Starokonstantinov (Khmelnitsky region).
Western experts intend to determine the feasibility of integrating the Storm Shadow (British version) or SCALP (French) cruise missile into the Su-24M weapon system.
🩸 It is not known for certain which Polish company will evaluate and analyse the aircraft's onboard equipment.
There are two major aircraft repair companies in Poland that could, in theory, retrofit the Ukrainian equipment:
▪️ Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze (WZL-2 and WZL-4)
▪️ Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze (PZL)
PZL assembles components and parts for the F-16, Typhoon and JAS-39 Gripen fighters at its Melec plant.
🩸 Upgrading the old Soviet Su-24Ms and fitting them with modern missiles in service with several countries is a matter of time.
The integration of AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles onto Ukrainian MiG-29s proved that it is quite feasible to combine NATO weaponry with Soviet-type equipment using a "home-made" method.
If the outcome is positive, the Ukrainian air force will receive a high-precision weapon with an infrared homing head and a range of 250-300km (export version). If it decides to install non-exported missiles, the Shadow has a "native" range of over 500 km.
In theory, this type of missile could easily be used to hit important military and infrastructure targets at long range, such as Russian military airfields deep in the rear.

The Air Force has already lost two Ukrainian Mi-8 aircraft in 24 hours today. A couple of hours ago we identified the crash site of the Mi-8MSB in #Konstantinovka, and some time ago Daniil Bezsonov published a video of another downed UAV. A little later there was footage from the Ukrainian side.

The Military Intelligence channel makes a neat suggestion that the downed Mi-8 near #Spornoye may have belonged to Russian army aviation.
It was not!
The Mi-8 was flying along the route #Berestovoye - #Spornoye along the line of contact. After it was hit by a MANPADS air defence system, the aircraft was driven towards the Russian positions in #Nikolaevka.
Explanation:
▪️ as @lostarmour (thanks Kloch4) write on the forum, the helicopter is missing a DISS unit under the beam. So it could either be an Mi-8MSB-V VVSU, or a Russian aircraft of rare special configuration that simply has no business being on the front line;
▪️ Those versed in war specify that Russian Mi-8s do not fly to the line of contact alone: they are always accompanied by attack helicopters. The only exceptions are sorties by SAR teams, but the Air Force aircraft have not been shot down today.
▪️ The front line southeast of #Spornoye runs along the eastern edge of the road. Separate AFU units regularly make forays behind the leading edge and push through the Russian Armed Forces' defences in #Nikolaevka;
▪️ All Ukrainian Mi-8 aircraft of all possible modifications are used to provide fire support to the advancing units: they are operated both with machine guns and using "bushfire" launchers with rocket-propelled grenades.

▪️ AFU militants shelled the border village of #Krasnoye in #Belgorod Region, with no civilian casualties. In the evening, air defence intercepted several aerial targets over #Belgorod.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ In the #Kupyansk area, the enemy, supported by foreign mercenaries, made another offensive attempt towards #Kuzemovka and #Orlyanka, but failed and retreated.
▪️ In the #Tavolzhanka sector near #Dvurechnaya the 14th AFU Mechanized Brigade formed assault detachments for a diversionary attack.
▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, the enemy command is moving forces into the #Borovaya area for another offensive against #Raygorodka.
▪️ In the #Lyman sector, units of the 66th Mechanized Brigade and 25th Airborne Brigade of the AFU undertook an assault on Russian positions near #Chervonopopovka, but were unsuccessful and withdrew.
▪️ In the #Lysychansk sector, Reconnaissance groupsof the Ukrainian 81st Airborne Brigade are operating on the front line, looking for weak points in the Russian defences.
#Lugansk People's Republic:
▪️ During the day, Ukrainian militants shelled #Alchevsk, #Svatovo, #Kremennaya and #Pervomaysk with HIMARS MLRS.
In #Alchevsk, residential buildings and the Metallurg Hotel were shelled.
Donetsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ Fighters of the DPR's People's Militia and 150th Motorized Rifle Division have advanced on the northern outskirts of #Maryinka and took control of boarding school No. 3.
Russian forces have also occupied several streets near Druzhba Avenue in the centre of the settlement and are clearing the outskirts of #Maryinka city council.
▪️ Ukrainian militants have shelled the #Donetsk agglomeration once again. #Donetsk, #Makeevka, #Yasynuvata, #Gorlovka and #Yelenovka came under fire.
#Ugledar Direction (MAP):
▪️ Russian forces liberated more than half of the village of #Pavlovka and took control of the crossing at #Kashgalach River. The AFU retain control of the state farm on the opposite river bank.
▪️ In the northeast, Russian forces are advancing south of #Novomikhailovka, success in this area will allow them to take control of the #Ugledar - #Konstantinovka road and launch an offensive on #Ugledar from the northeast.
▪️ An Ukrainian Mi-8 transport helicopter was shot down by Russian units in #Konstantinovka.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ In #Zaporozhye region, Russian forces engaged targets in #Olginskoye, #Gulyaypole and #Zaliznichnoye, as well as in #Nikopol district and #Marganets on the north bank of the #Dnipro River.
#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front:
▪️ Russian troops struck #Bereznegovatoye during the night and destroyed the site of an AFU artillery unit.

In the morning, the Russian Armed Forces launched massive missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
