⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ @Rybar: Another POW exchange - 50/50⚡️

A new 50/50 prisoner-of-war exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place today. This time, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushylin, was the first to announce the exchange, while the release of Russian servicemen was confirmed by the Russian Defence Ministry.

On the Ukrainian side, the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, reported in detail about the exchange. According to him, Russia has extradited to the AFU:

▪️ 12 National Guard fighters, including 2 Azov fighters.

▪️ 18 servicemen of the Navy.

▪️ 8 border guards from the State Border Service of Ukraine.

▪️ 9 Territorial Defence fighters.

▪️ A total of 3 AFU servicemen and 2 civilians.

According to video footage from the Ukrainian side, the exchange took place near the village of #Kamenskoye in #Zaporozhye Region.

Once again, the Ukrainian leadership has confirmed that the AFU soldiers will be the last to be returned: #Kiev is prioritizing nationalists, who are being made into heroes for state propaganda.

And yet the Ukrainian authorities are once again giving the exchange as much publicity as possible. The net is flooded with photos and videos of healthy, unharmed and satisfied Ukrainians returned from captivity. Biographies of the exchanged Ukrainians are replicated in all national media, they are celebrated as heroes.

The only thing known about the released Russian servicemen is that they are being transported to Moscow for treatment, among them 9 servicemen of the DPR and LPR.

Full text of the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement on the "grain deal". There are a number of other interesting points there.

On 29 October, Ukrainian armed forces, under cover of the humanitarian corridor created as part of the "Black Sea initiative" for the removal of Ukrainian agricultural products, carried out massive air and sea strikes using drones against the ships and infrastructure of the Russian Black Sea Fleet at the naval base in Sevastopol.

In connection with the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces, led by British specialists, directed, among other things, against Russian vessels ensuring the functioning of the said humanitarian corridor (which cannot be qualified otherwise than as a terrorist act), the Russian side cannot guarantee the safety of the civilian dry cargo ships participating in the "Black Sea initiative" and is suspending its implementation as of today for an indefinite period. Instructions to this effect have been given to Russian representatives at the Joint Coordination Centre in Istanbul, which controls the transportation of Ukrainian food.

Without guarantees of safety for dry cargo ships, the "grain deal" cannot function. Suspension of Russia's participation in the "grain deal" removes any guarantees related to the operation of sea ports, terminals and granaries.

It may also be noted that the Russian agriculture minister said today that Russia is ready to supply its grain to world markets at affordable prices (as well as 500,000 tonnes free of charge), including fully replacing Ukrainian grain.

In the Kremenna area, the AFU continues its attempts to break through our defense, looking for weaknesses in it. The enemy acts according to a standard scheme. First, our positions are subjected to artillery fire, and then the enemy infantry, supported by tanks and armored personnel carriers, attacks them. The enemy forces accumulate to attack at a distance of about 1.5 to 2 kilometers from our positions to the west of the Kremenna-Svatovo highway (i.e. about 3-4 kilometers from the highway itself). Thus the attacking AFU units operate along the entire Zhytlovka-Peschanoye-Krasnopopovka defense line, as well as from the direction of Torskoye to Dibrovka with the obvious intention of breaking through our defense to the north and south of Kremenna.

The enemy does not count its losses and pulls new forces to the line of battle. Today the Ukrainian Armed Forces used aircraft to attack our positions near Krasnopopovka. And in the area of Peschanoye, enemy snipers were actively working on our fighters at their positions. The attacks continued throughout the day.

1. Ugledar.

Russian troops began their offensive in the morning. The troops reached the outskirts of Pavlovka. Fighting was taking place there by mid-day. The enemy was pushed back, but it is still premature to speak about a breakthrough.

2. Marinka.

Some movement of our troops to the north of the village has been reported.

3. Avdeevka.

Fighting continues for Pervomayskoye and in the direction of Vodyanoye. Small movements in our favour.

4. Artemovsk.

Fighting in the industrial zone and for the fortifications near Opytnoye.
No significant advancement to Kurdyumovka yet.

5. Svatovo-Kremennaya.

The enemy intensified pressure in the direction of the Svatovo-Kremiennaya highway, which is under enemy fire. The enemy also seized the village of Nevskoe near the village of Terny. Serious enemy attacks continue in this direction.

6. Kherson.

The enemy continues to probe our defenses in the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog directions, but is unable to achieve significant results. At the same time, the AFU suffers significant casualties here on a regular basis during such attacks and reconnaissance battles.

The AFU command says they want to capture Kherson by the end of November.

▪️ Units of the DPR Sparta Battalion and other units of the Russian Armed Forces have managed to gain a foothold in the village of #Vodyanoye, north of the #Peski settlement.

▪️ Assault groups of Russian Forces are fighting on the outskirts of the village of #Opytnoye, an important defence stronghold in the #Avdeevka fortified area.

▪️ Fighting is taking place in the western part of #Pervomayskoye as well as in the eastern part of #Vodyanoye village.

🩸 The final clearing of #Pervomayskoye and #Nevelskoye settlements will provide the opportunity to develop an offensive on #Netailovo and #Krasnogorovka and an advance north from #Vodyanoye and #Opytnoye to #Orlovka to further encircle the fortified area of #Avdeevka.

From these settlements, the AFU is firing indiscriminately on towns in the Donetsk agglomeration on a daily basis. Their capture will move the front line away from the administrative centre of the DPR and reduce the intensity of artillery attacks.

▪️ Air defence, navy and aviation repelled the enemy attack. Two ships and a berth were not critically damaged. In response to the incident, Russian authorities announced the suspension of the "Grain Deal".

#Belgorod and #Kursk Regions:

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled residential buildings in Stary farmstead in Volokonovsky district of #Belgorod region. No injuries or fatalties.

▪️ An Ukrainian drone struck a substation on the outskirts of the town of #Sudzha in #Kursk region. Shrapnel damaged the transformer, the facility is operating normally.

#Starobelsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, the Ukrainian command is gathering forces in prepararion for another offensive on #Kuzemovka. Russian artillery has launched a preemptive strike on AFU concentrations.

▪️ In the #Lyman sector, the AFU made a new attempt to attack Russian positions near #Torskoye. After targeted Russian artillery strikes, the enemy withdrew to its initial positions with significant losses if personnel and equipment.

▪️ An AFU battalion and tactical group supported by foreign mercenaries attacked Russian positions near #Makeevka from the direction of #Terny and #Torskoye. The enemies entered the village, but by evening had been pushed back to their original lines by units of the 144th and 3rd Motorized Rifle Divisions of the 20th Russian Army.

#Soledar Direction:

▪️ The situation on the front has not changed significantly. Fighting continues in the outskirts of #Bachmut, #Opytnoye and #Soledar.

#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ Russian Forces have launched an offensive on the village of #Pavlovka, a key stronghold south of #Ugledar. The Russian troops have occupied the advanced positions of the AFU and reached the southern outskirts of the village.

▪️ DPR People's Militia units are advancing further north of #Donetsk airport. They have gained a foothold in the south-eastern part of the #Vodyanoye settlement as well as in the built-up area in the southern part of #Opytnoye. Russian Forces are also advancing in #Pervomayskoye.

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled #Donetsk, #Aleksandrovka, #Makeevka, #Stepnoye, #Staromikhailovka and other settlements in the agglomeration.

#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ During the day, Russian troops struck a critical infrastructure facility in #Zaporozhye. An aluminium smelter was damaged. According to preliminary reports, it was a deployment site for foreign mercenaries.

#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front:

▪️ AFU units attempted an offensive near the village of #Bruskinskoye, Russian units repulsed the attack.

▪️ Russian Forces carried out strikes on enemy positions in #Nikolaev, #Trifonovka, #Andreevka and #Novoalexandrovka.

▪️ Ukrainian militants fired HIMARS near the river port in #Kherson, with all fired missiles intercepted by air defences. There were no casualties.

▪️ During the night, Ukrainian militants fired 12 rockets at a pontoon crossing near #Antonovsky Bridge in #Kherson, three of which hit the target.

In exchange for a symbolic strike on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, which "slightly" damaged one minesweeper (according to the Russian defense ministry, anyway), Ukraine managed to get the "grain corridor" deal canceled and Moscow is now openly accusing the UK of taking part in both this attack and the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines. It seems some people still don't realize that the gloves are off.

Khodakovsky:

Our troops have launched an offensive at #Ugledar. Aircraft and artillery gave the enemy hell. The Khohol, in turn, has just worked its air force into #Chervonopopovka. The first enemy defence line in the #Ugledar direction near #Pavlovka is ploughed over almost completely. There is a wood where the enemy entrenched itself, but it is being actively scorched by our Solnechnyoks. The enemy threw equipment for reinforcements, which is actively destroyed by our aviation and artillery, preventing them from approaching the first line of defense. There are also successes in other parts of the front in the #Donetsk direction. What losses the enemy is suffering is hard to imagine. But if they had surrendered in advance, as they had been previously offered, they would have survived.

The AFU are not abandoning their attempts to retake positions north of #Donetsk airport, which they lost during the summer and autumn offensive of the DPR.

The video shows another attack by the AFU on Russian positions near #Vodyanoye. The Russian fighters detected the movement of enemy equipment and hit one of the BMPs with an anti-tank missile.

Characteristically, the Ukrainian command acted in an extremely shambolic manner. Exactly at the same place less than a week ago, the AFU lost five armored vehicles during an unsuccessful offensive.

DPR fighters continue to destroy identified AFU positions near #Peski. The video shows a group of Ukrainian soldiers and a pickup truck hidden in a caponier.

An AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher in tandem with a UAV operator fired a round precisely at the enemy hideout, damaging the vehicle and dispersing the personnel there.

At least one Ukrainian militant was killed as a result of the successful firing. The others were forced to retreat, leaving the body of a fellow soldier along with the damaged vehicle.
