In late 2013, then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich announced his decision to postpone the signing of his country’s Association Agreement with the EU over unfavorable terms.
This sparked riots, which kicked off on November 21, 2013, when up to 2,000 protesters gathered in Kiev's central square, Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square).
Yanukovich was finally ousted in February 2014 following deadly clashes in Kiev.

Analysis of the results of the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces military airfield in Mirgorod by the Donbass Partisan channel:
On the evening of February 21, 2024 , with the use of Geranium-2 attack drones, attacks were carried out on the territory of the Mirgorod military airfield.
Coordinates: 49.9310834, 33.6431029
In accordance with the information provided, two hits were confirmed in the southwestern part of the facility - a fire broke out on the spot, which was accompanied by a secondary detonation .
At the moment, reliable data have been received about the defeat of one Su-24M bomber (possibly with ADM-160 MALD missiles installed) and one MiG-29 fighter on board which were installed with SCALP missiles (probably the secondary detonation was triggered by the defeat of these particular munitions) .
The exact extent of damage to the aircraft and the possibility of their further operation/restoration are unknown .
It is important to note that the strikes were carried out during the preparation of aircraft for combat missions, which was carried out by the enemy as part of planning attacks on Russian territory in the near future (there is a high activity of NATO AWACS aircraft in the Black Sea region and the European border area) .
It is highly possible that the purpose of this strike was to neutralize the potential existing threat and weaken the enemy even before he could fully organize his forces

🔹 Russian Troops are developing an offensive in the area of the "Rabotino Ledge". At the moment they have managed to level the line of control in a 5 km long section to a depth of about a km.
▪️ In #Rabotino itself, fighting is taking place near the ruins of the school in the center of the settlement, from where the surrounding area opens up. If Russian units are able to maintain control over it, the AFU will be forced to retreat to the northern outskirts of the village.
▪️ To the east, the RF Armed Forces knocked out the enemy from several strongholds near #Verbovoye, pushing the Ukrainian formations away from the "Krivoy Beam". In addition, they regained control over the "Shirokaya Beam". There the enemy was also forced to retreat under the onslaught of Russian troops.

A bill on promoting traditional values in Russia has been introduced in the State Duma.
According to the bill, promoting traditional values will become one of the goals of charitable and volunteer activities.
This concerns "assistance in preserving, strengthening, and promoting traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, including the value of a strong family, marriage as a union of a man and a woman, and having many children."
Non-profit organizations (NPOs) will be able to count on additional support measures if they are engaged in such work, the explanatory note clarifies.
Parliamentarians reiterated in the bill that President Putin has tasked them to more actively involve philanthropists and volunteers, including non-profit organizations, in strengthening traditional values.
According to the authors, the bill gains particular relevance in 2024, which has been declared the Year of the Family in Russia.

▫️In Donetsk direction, the Yug Grouping liberated Pobeda, and hit the 92nd Assault, 79th Air assault, and 46th Airmobile Brigades close to Novomikhaylovka and Krasnogorovka (DPR), and improved the situation on the frontline.
The enemy lost more than 410 troops, 1 tank, 3 AFVs, 5 MVs, 1 Polish Krab, 1 Bogdana, 1 Gvozdika SAUs, and 1 D-20 howitzer.
▫️In Avdeyevka direction, the Tsentr Grouping repulsed 9 attacks and counterattacks close to Novgorodskoye, Leninskoye, Berdichi, Lastochkino, and Pervomayskoye (DPR), and inflicted losses on troops and hardware of the 53rd Mechanised, 3rd Assault, 107th, and 116th Territorial Defence Brigades near Orlovka and Tonenkoye (DPR), and took more advantageous lines and positions.

The Russian Armed Forces used aerial bombs extremely effectively during the assault on Avdeevka - deputy editor-in-chief of Bild
The deputy leader of the German publication Bild, Paul Ronzheimer, during a broadcast on the Das Erste TV channel, said that Russian troops extremely effectively used aerial bombs with UMPC as part of the assault on Avdiivka.
He believes that the effective use of these weapons is largely responsible for the success of the entire operation. Proper use of its advantage in artillery and aviation will allow Russian troops to advance forward in the near future.
Ronzheimer noted that Russian fighters are superior to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in numbers and firepower. He admitted that Ukrainian troops were being defeated and the soldiers were in a terrible state of morale.
From the journalist’s point of view, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now in the worst position during the conflict.

Israeli newspapers are not uniform in their coverage of the 7 October 2023 Black Swan War and other issues. Israel HaYom, a free newspaper distributed in Israel that seems to have the largest circulation, is the one most supportive of the Netanyahu government. An idea of the newspaper's ideological slant can be gained by a quick look at the following list of recent opinion pieces taken from its English language website:

On February 25, Ukraine will hold a conference at which it will discuss its path this year, with the participation of government officials, the press secretary of the country's president, Sergei Nikiforov, said on the Rada TV channel.
According to him, on February 24, many foreign leaders from “friends” and partner countries will arrive in Kyiv, and the visits will have “practical results.” An online meeting of the G7 countries is also expected.
“For February 25, the next day, we are preparing something special. This will be a conference, an honest conversation about our future path, the path to 2024 and beyond. All the top government speakers, the military-political leadership, the prime minister, the head of the Verkhovna Rada, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Ministry of Stratprom will be there. There will be a first lady, there will be a Ministry of Infrastructure, there will be Zelensky’s office and, of course, the president himself,” Nikiforov said on the Rada TV channel.
He added that the talk would be about everyday life in Ukraine, the army, integration into the EU and NATO, security guarantees, the mental health of Ukrainians, business support and other aspects of the country’s life. A press conference is also scheduled for Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and other senior officials.

◾The reporter was detained by the Polish secret services at his hotel when he was reporting from the city of Przemyśl, very close to the border with Ukraine, about the migrant crisis that the conflict was causing. The Polish Justice then accused him of being a Russian spy.
◾In a few days, it will be already two years in prison and the Court of Appeals of Lublin (Poland) that is studying his case has decided this Thursday that he will remain behind bars for at least another three months.
