Storming of Pobeda: The 255th regiment launches an attack on enemy positions along the last village street
▪️ Near Marinka, the 255th regiment of the Southern Military District successfully breached the enemy's defenses in Pobeda, effectively securing control over nearly the entire village.
▪️Stormtroopers from the Southern Military District, supported by tanks and BMP-3s, launched an assault on enemy positions, systematically destroying shelters and enemy personnel.
▪️ In video No. 2, the Deadpool crew of the Tiger tank battalion from the 255th regiment can be seen demolishing the house where the mobile group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hiding.

What is the US strategy for Assange?
The US has no plans for Assange to stand trial in the United States and prefers for him to die awaiting trial, Dan Kovalik, a professor, human rights lawyer and peace activist told Radio Sputnik on Tuesday.
The comments came after Assange’s wife, Stellar Assange, that the WikiLeaks founder will die in prison if he is extradited to the United States.
The US government would like to avoid an actual trial with Assange, Kobalik contended, because their misdeeds would come to light. “People would be called from the US government, present and past, to talk about their crimes, to talk about the war crimes, the things that Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have exposed. So they don't want any part of that,” Kovalik predicted.

“If [Julian Assange] is sent to the US, they’re just going to delay the trial as long as they can so that they can guarantee that he’ll die in jail,” Kovalik explained. “That’s always been the plan.”
The comments came after Assange’s wife, Stellar Assange, that the WikiLeaks founder will die in prison if he is extradited to the United States.
“His health is in decline, mentally and physically. His life is at risk every single day he stays in prison, and if he’s extradited, he will die,” Stellar Assange said at a media briefing in London.
The US government would like to avoid an actual trial with Assange, Kobalik contended, because their misdeeds would come to light. “People would be called from the US government, present and past, to talk about their crimes, to talk about the war crimes, the things that Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have exposed. So they don't want any part of that,” Kovalik predicted.
“I mean, the whole thing is just a travesty. It's an absolute travesty of any idea of due process and justice,” he concluded.

☠️ The Alyoshkovsky Sands Landfill (which was actively used by the AFU until 2022) 👉 was hit by HIMARS MLRS during the training period with our personnel.
🔹 In the #Kherson direction, fighting continues in #Krynki, a couple dozen AFU soldiers remain in the village, the enemy is hitting from its shore with artillery and drones. Landing groups of both sides operate on the islands.
🔹 On the #Zaporozhye front, there are battles in #Rabotino, the enemy conducts maneuverable defence and ambush operations, the RF Armed Forces operate in small groups of infantry, reporting hasty reports to the top about the capture of the settlement. Our troops are striking deep into the enemy's defences, using FABs with UMPC.
🔹 To the south of #Maryinka, the RF Armed Forces are advancing near the settlement of #Pobeda, most of the village is occupied by our troops, the AFU are being forced out of nearby farms. There is a battle for #Novomikhaylovka.
🔹 In the #Avdeyevka direction, there are battles in #Stepovoye and #Pervomayskoye. At #Lastochkino, our troops are expanding the offensive front.
🔹 In the Chasov Yar sector, the Russian Army attacks at #Bogdanovka and #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye).
🔹 In the #Liman sector, there are battles at the #Terny settlement.
💥 At night, an enemy S-200 missile (converted for strikes on ground targets) was destroyed over the territory of the #Rostov region. An aircraft-type UAV was shot down over the #Bryansk region. The shelling of the #Belgorod region continues, the locality of the Stachny Khutor of the Valuysky urban district was attacked by an AFU kamikaze drone. At the moment, the AFU have sufficient ammunition and personnel there. The dominant heights and well-fortified positions of the RF Armed Forces occupied during the summer offensive are an additional advantage for them. The village itself is densely processed by Russian artillery.
💥 The AFU is also under attack in Malye Shcherbaky, #Novoandreyevka, #Malaya Tokmachka, #Zheleznodorozhnoye and #Gulyaypole.
💥 The RF Armed Forces, in #Kopani, #Novoprokopovka and #Verbovoye. (Fig. 1).

🔴 In the #Liman direction, according to reports from the field, the enemy has partial success east of #Terny in the area of the Kruglaya Beam and Yar Laptev.
🔴 In the #Bakhmut direction, a high rate of fighting remains in the area of the Popovsky Forest and east of the #Ivanovskoye. Without significant changes.
🔴 In the #Avdeyevka front sector, the enemy is pressing in the direction of #Orlovka and #Lastochkino. Advance to a depth of 200 m.
🔴 In the #Kurakhovo direction, Russian proceeded to storm the dacha village “Urozhay”, located south of the #Georgiyevka headquarters. Advance on a section up to 2.3 km wide to a depth of 520 m.
🟡 Southeast of the Paris Commune HQ, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical situation in the northern direction. A grey zone has been added.
🟡 In the area of the #Pobeda village, the enemy continues to push in the direction of the forest belts. Added clarifications.
🔴 In #Krynki, positional combat operations are continuing. The AFU repelled an attack by an enemy assault group at the point:

6️⃣ The United States has told the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that it should not order the unconditional withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Palestinian territories without security guarantees.
7️⃣ Matthew Miller, the US State Department spokesperson, has said that Yemen’s Houthis are “behaving like a terrorist organisation”, adding that their attacks on shipping vessels are “endangering an already fragile humanitarian situation” and “do nothing to help the Palestinians”.
At least 29,313 people including more than 12,300 children, have been killed and over 69,333 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The revised death toll from the October 7 attack in Israel stands at 1,139.

In late 2013, then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich announced his decision to postpone the signing of his country’s Association Agreement with the EU over unfavorable terms.
This sparked riots, which kicked off on November 21, 2013, when up to 2,000 protesters gathered in Kiev's central square, Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square).
Yanukovich was finally ousted in February 2014 following deadly clashes in Kiev.
