Wagner's PMC units were tasked to occupy a platoon stronghold in a forest belt near #Zaitsevo.
When setting up the stronghold, the AFU used the tactical properties of the terrain cleverly. The dense vegetation prevented observation both from the air and from the ground. The difficult terrain created additional difficulties for the advancing forces.
The stronghold itself was a very difficult object to assault: an elaborate network of trenches, dugouts and hidden passages.
The stronghold was located on the dominating height, which allowed the enemy to adjust fire from it for many kilometres.
During the assault, units of the Wagner PMC cooperated with its aerial reconnaissance, which transmitted data on the location of the enemy. Two teams of the Wagner PMC were to first disperse the AFU forces at the stronghold, and then begin to occupy the trenches.
The task was completed and the Ukrainian stronghold near #Zaitsevo was eliminated.

Early in the morning, the AFU with two battalion-tactical groups of the 60th Infantry Brigade and armoured vehicles of the 17th Tank Brigade launched an offensive from Novaya Kamenka to the #Dudchany - #Mylovoye - #Novogrigorovka line with the task of cutting the lines of communication and consolidating the bridgehead.
▪️ The Ukrainian formations are supported by artillery and rocket artillery from the #Petropavlovka positional area.
▪️ Fierce fighting is currently continuing. Soldiers of the 205th Separate Motorized Rifle Cossack Brigade, the 140th Regiment and the 810th Separate Marines Brigade of the Russian Forces are holding their defensive positions in the area. Units of the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade, reinforced by special forces of the 10th Brigade, are in reserve.
▪️ Movements of personnel and equipment have also been observed in the Davydov Brod area. It is very likely that the forces of the AFU's 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade will also attempt to storm Russian positions on the #Sadok - #Borozenskoye line.

Early in the morning, after a brief artillery preparation, the AFU with two battalion-tactical groups of 60th Infantry and armoured vehicles of the 17th Tank Brigade, supported by mobile groups of the 140th AFU Special Forces Regiment made an unsuccessful attempt to advance from Novaya Kamenka to the #Dudchany - #Mylovoye - #Novogrigorovka line.
▪️ The Ukrainian command did not undertake any offensive actions from the direction of Davydov Brod.
▪️ The greatest personnel losses were suffered by the units of the 140th Special Forces FSO Regiment of the AFU, which reconnoitered the fighting positions of the Russian forces and were the first to attack.
▪️ The enemy motorized infantry and tanks, which followed in the second echelon, came under concentrated fire from Giatsint-B guns and Smerch MLRS.
▪️ At the same time, anti-aircraft positions of Ukrainian Forces at Zeleny Gay, #Novogrednevo and #Murakhovka were hit by Geran-2 and Lancet drones.
▪️ After AFU air defenses were suppressed, a series of airstrikes were carried out against enemy units that had suffered artillery losses.
▪️ The surviving AFU fighters scattered across the fields in various directions away from the Ukrainian equipment columns that were hit. Mobile infantry groups of Russian Forces are in the process of clearing forest belts near the hit and abandoned AFU equipment.

Early in the morning, after a brief artillery preparation, the AFU with two battalion-tactical groups of 60th Infantry and armoured vehicles of the 17th Tank Brigade, supported by mobile groups of the 140th AFU Special Forces Regiment made an unsuccessful attempt to advance from Novaya Kamenka to the #Dudchany - #Mylovoye - #Novogrigorovka line.
▪️ The Ukrainian command did not undertake any offensive actions from the direction of Davydov Brod.
▪️ The greatest personnel losses were suffered by the units of the 140th Special Forces FSO Regiment of the AFU, which reconnoitered the fighting positions of the Russian forces and were the first to attack.
▪️ The enemy motorized infantry and tanks, which followed in the second echelon, came under concentrated fire from Giatsint-B guns and Smerch MLRS.
▪️ At the same time, anti-aircraft positions of Ukrainian Forces at Zeleny Gay, #Novogrednevo and #Murakhovka were hit by Geran-2 and Lancet drones.
▪️ After AFU air defenses were suppressed, a series of airstrikes were carried out against enemy units that had suffered artillery losses.
▪️ The surviving AFU fighters scattered across the fields in various directions away from the Ukrainian equipment columns that were hit. Mobile infantry groups of Russian Forces are in the process of clearing forest belts near the hit and abandoned AFU equipment.

MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. Two citizens of a CIS (note: Commonwealth of Independent States) country carried out a terrorist attack during a shooting training session at a military training ground in the Belgorod Region, eleven people were killed in the attack and 15 more were wounded, the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters on Saturday.
"On October 15, two citizens of a CIS country committed an act of terror at training range of the Western Military District in the Belgorod Region," the ministry said.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the terrorists opened fire using small arms at the unit’s military personnel during a shooting training session, which was attended by those willing to take part in the special military operation.
"As a result of the shooting, eleven people were mortally wounded. Another 15 people suffered different wounds and were taken to a medical facility, where they are being provided with any aid required," the ministry said, adding that both terrorists were killed in return fire.
Law enforcement agencies are working at the site.

In the last few days, the number of rocket attacks on civilian infrastructure in and around #Belgorod has multiplied. Soldiers of the air defence units of the Russian Armed Forces make every effort to ensure protection of the civilian population. However, these efforts are not always enough.
🔻 The desire of some citizens to cover the events taking place, to show the operation of SAMs or the consequences of strikes by the AFU - in the first place, plays in favour of the Ukrainian formations.
By showing the moment of arrival, you show the results of the strike and help the AFU to understand whether the missile or the drone flew. And by publishing the moment when a missile or UAV was shot down, you can reveal the air defence positioning area.
So we ask you: do not publish this data prematurely. By doing so without background blurring and other precautions, you put both yourself and our troops at risk of being detected.
We should know how effectively open-source data can be used to locate enemy targets. And there are thousands of foreign specialists working in Ukraine studying open-source data.
It is precisely because of the Ukrainian leadership's ban on filming arrivals and strikes that there is now so little original footage. And this has made our work much more difficult.
🔻 We also ask the regional authorities to develop and adopt the necessary legislation to prohibit the publication of data that could lead to the uncovering of the location of important military and civilian facilities. Such actions should be prosecuted, up to and including criminal charges.
Not all citizens realise the seriousness of the consequences because of the lack of serious penalties. And jail time for even unintentional leaks (and there are those who do it on purpose) will sober up the hotheads.
🔻 Before you publish anything in pursuit of hype - think about the consequences of your actions. The conflict is far from over. And only by a common and united front can we achieve victory.

◽️ Up to 50 Ukrainian personnel, 5 armoured combat vehicles and 3 pickups with large-calibre machine guns have been eliminated.
◽️ 3 U.S.-manufactured M777 howitzers have been destroyed near Zagryzovo (Kharkov region).
