Damascus Government’s Armed Groups Continue Escalation in Deir Hafer: One Fighter Martyred, Children Injured

One of our fighters was martyred today from wounds sustained in an attack carried out by factions affiliated with the Damascus government. The attack, launched on Tuesday evening, involved two suicide drones that targeted one of our positions in the Deir Hafer area. It was followed by indiscriminate artillery shelling that lasted for hours and struck civilian-populated areas.

Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, the village of Zubaydah was also subjected to artillery shelling, resulting in four children being injured with varying degrees of severity. This attack reaffirms the insistence of armed groups under the Damascus government’s Ministry of Defense to create chaos and systematically target civilians.

Earlier last Saturday evening, Damascus government–affiliated armed groups committed a massacre in Deir Hafer, resulting in eight civilians being martyred among them were two children who were martyred instantly and a third child who were martyred due to his injuries after being taken to the hospital. Four other civilians were also wounded with varying degrees of severity as a result of direct artillery shelling on civilian homes.

These repeated and brutal attacks constitute a military escalation aimed at destabilizing the region, spreading fear, and forcibly displacing residents from their homes. They further expose the true nature of government-affiliated factions, which continue to commit heinous crimes against defenseless civilians through indiscriminate killings and shelling, in blatant violation of existing agreements and understandings with the Damascus administration.

إحباط هجوم لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي شرق دير الزور واستشهاد خمسة من مقاتلينا

يعلن المركز الإعلامي لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية أنّه أثناء تصدّي مقاتلينا لشبكة إرهابية تابعة لتنظيم داعش استهدفت نقطة تمركز لقواتنا في بلدة البحرة الوسطى شرقي دير الزور صباح اليوم، ارتقى خمسة من رفاقنا شهداءً، وأصيب مقاتلٌ آخر في مواجهاتٍ عنيفة تمّت خلال إحباط الهجوم.

لقد تصدّى مقاتلونا لهجوم الإرهابيين بكل شجاعة وإخلاص، وتمكّنوا من إحباط المخطَّط الإرهابي وفرض السيطرة الميدانية، فيما تستمرّ الآن عمليات التمشيط وملاحقة العناصر الإرهابية للقضاء عليهم في منطقة الحدث لضمان أمن الأهالي واستئصال بؤر الخطر.

نحن إذ ننعى شهداءنا الأبطال، نتقدّم بأسمى آيات العزاء والمساندة إلى أسرهم ورفاقهم، ونؤكد أنّ دماءهم لن تذهب هدراً. نقف بكلّ حزم أمام هذه العصابات الإرهابية، ونُعلن التوعد بالثأر لشهدائنا، وبملاحقة كل من شارك أو أيّد أو دبّر لهذا الاعتداء إلى أقصى حدود القانون والقوّة الميدانية.

إلى شعبنا والأهالي في المنطقة: نؤكّد التزام قيادتنا ومقاتلينا بحماية المدنيين والحفاظ على أمنكم واستقرار مناطقكم. ستستمرّ وحداتنا في تنفيذ عمليّات منظّمة ومدروسة لاستئصال خلايا التنظيمات الإرهابية وتفكيك شبكاتها، ونهيب بكلّ مواطن متعاونٍ مع القوى الأمنية أن يقدّم المعلومات التي تساعد في حفظ الأمن.

ISIS Attack Thwarted East of Deir Ezzor, Five of Our Fighters Martyred

The Media Center of Syrian Democratic Forces announces that while our fighters confronted an ISIS terrorist network that targeted a position of our forces in the town of Al-Bahra Al-Wusta, east of Deir Ezzor, this morning, five of our comrades were martyred, and another fighter was wounded in violent clashes that took place during thwarting the attack.

Our fighters bravely and loyally confronted the terrorist attack and were able to thwart the terrorist plot and impose control on the ground. Combing operations and the pursuit of terrorist elements continue to eliminate them in the area, ensuring the safety of residents and eliminating hotbeds of danger.

As we mourn our heroic martyrs, we offer our deepest condolences and support to their families and comrades, and we affirm that their blood will not be shed in vain. We stand firmly against these terrorist gangs and vow to avenge our martyrs and to pursue all those who participated in, supported, or planned this attack to the fullest extent of the law and the field force.

To our people and the residents of the region: We affirm the commitment of our leadership and fighters to protecting civilians and preserving your security and the stability of your regions. Our units will continue to carry out organized and precise operations to eradicate terrorist cells and dismantle their networks. We call on every citizen cooperating with the security forces to provide information that helps maintain security.

استشهد أربعة من مقاتلينا في قوات سوريا الديمقراطية أثناء تصديهم لهجوم غادر لخلايا داعش الإرهابية في بلدة ابريهة شرق دير الزور، بعد اشتباك مباشر أسفر عن مقتل أحد الإرهابيين.
قواتنا تواصل مطاردة الفارين وتثبيت الأمن، مؤكدة أن دماء الشهداء عهدٌ بمواصلة سحق فلول داعش ودحر الإرهاب حتى النهاية.

Four of Our Fighters Martyred, One ISIS Terrorist Eliminated in Attack on Abriha, East of Deir Ezzor

Four of our SDF fighters were martyred while confronting a treacherous attack carried out by ISIS terrorist cells in the town of Abriha, east of Deir Ezzor, following direct clashes that resulted in the elimination of one terrorist.
Our forces continue to pursue the other terrorists and reinforce security, affirming that the blood of our martyrs is a pledge to carry on crushing ISIS remnants and defeating terrorism once and for all.

قوّاتنا تطيح بمتزعم لداعش في درنج وتفشل هجوماً إرهابياً على حاجز ببلدة أبريهة شرقي دير الزور

تمكّنت قوات مجلس هجين العسكري التابع لقواتنا، من إلقاء القبض على متزعم لإحدى خلايا داعش الإرهابية في بلدة درنج بريف دير الزور الشرقي، بعد اشتباك أسفر عن إصابته والقبض عليه، فيما ارتقى مقاتل من قواتنا شهيداً وأصيب اثنان خلال الاشتباك. وفي بلدة أبريهة، حاولت خلايا التنظيم الإرهابي مهاجمة حاجز أمني باستخدام الدراجات النارية والأسلحة الرشاشة، إلا أن مقاتلينا تصدوا للهجوم وأفشلوه، ما أجبر العناصر الإرهابية على الانسحاب بعد إصابة أحدهم، أعقب ذلك حملة تمشيط لضمان أمن واستقرار المنطقة.

Update – Reports of clashes between our forces and Damascus government–affiliated armed groups in the Deir Hafer area, eastern Aleppo countryside, are false. The situation in the area is completely calm, and no clashes have occurred as rumored.

إحباط مخطط إرهابي لداعش واعتقال ثلاثة من عناصره بريف دير الزور الشرقي

بفضل الجهود الأمنية والعسكرية المتواصلة، تمكنت قواتنا، قوات سوريا الديمقراطية من إلقاء القبض على خلية إرهابية مكوّنة من ثلاثة عناصر تابعة لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي، وذلك في بلدة الطكيحي بريف دير الزور الشرقي.

جاءت العملية بعد متابعة دقيقة لتحركات أفراد الخلية، الذين كانوا يستعدون لتنفيذ اعتداءات إرهابية تستهدف أمن واستقرار المنطقة. وقد فرضت قواتنا طوقاً أمنياً محكماً على موقع تواجدهم، وألقت القبض عليهم دون وقوع أي خسائر.

خلال العملية، تم ضبط أسلحة ووثائق تثبت ارتباط العناصر المقبوض عليهم بتنظيم داعش، وتؤكد ضلوعهم في التخطيط لعمليات إرهابية تهدد حياة المدنيين.

إننا في قوات سوريا الديمقراطية نؤكد مجدداً التزامنا الثابت بملاحقة فلول تنظيم داعش وخلاياه النائمة، وإفشال محاولاته لزعزعة الأمن والاستقرار في شمال وشرق سوريا. ونشدد على أننا مستمرون في أداء واجبنا الوطني والإنساني في حماية شعبنا والحفاظ على مكتسباته.

Our SDF units thwart an ISIS terrorist plot and arrest 3 members in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside


With the ongoing security and military efforts, our units from the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF, were able to arrest an ISIS terrorist cell consisting of three members in the town of Al-Takihi east of Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The operation came after close monitoring of the cell members' movements, which was preparing to carry out terrorist attacks targeting the security and stability of the region.

Our forces imposed a tight security circle around the location and arrested them without any casualties.

During the operation, weapons and documents were seized which prove the arrested individuals' affiliation with ISIS, and confirming their involvement in planning terrorist operations that threaten the lives of civilians.

We, the Syrian Democratic Forces, reaffirm our commitment to pursuing the remnants of ISIS , the sleeper cells, and thwart the attempts that aim to destabilize security and stability in Northern and Eastern Syria.
We emphasize that we will continue to fulfill our national and humanitarian duty to protect our people and preserve their gains.

تحديث – المجموعات المسلحة لحكومة دمشق تواصل قصف سد تشرين

منذ صباح اليوم، تواصل المجموعات المسلحة التابعة لحكومة دمشق، وبصورة ممنهجة، استهداف سد تشرين ومحيطه بالأسلحة الثقيلة، بما في ذلك الدبابات والمدافع الميدانية. وقد أصابت القذائف بشكل مباشر جسم السد، إضافة إلى المساكن العمالية والقرى المحيطة، ما يشكل تهديداً بالغ الخطورة لحياة المدنيين، ويعرض منشآت حيوية لخطر كارثي.

إن هذه الاعتداءات، التي تأتي في وقت تقتضي فيه الأوضاع التهدئة وضمان استمرار الخدمات الأساسية، تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وخرقاً فاضحاً لاتفاقيات وقف إطلاق النار. واستمرارها لن يؤدي إلا إلى مزيد من التوتر وتهديد الاستقرار في المنطقة.

نحمّل حكومة دمشق المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الانتهاكات وما قد يترتب عليها من عواقب وخيمة، ونؤكد على حقّ الدفاع المشروع في الدفاع عن أهلنا وقوّاتنا ضد أي تهديد واعتداء.
