A few updates on the Script Network development to answer some of your most pressing questions but also to give clarity what's been going on behind closed doors…⚡️

Staking
Staking was due end of Feb, but it was unfortunately delayed. However, we are positive staking will launch next week finally. The reason is due to a thorough audit that ensures our staking protocol will be ready for mainnet on Script Blockchain, although it will of course go live on BSC next week.

Mainnet
Its been a journey - but we are almost there! First and foremost, we apologies for the delay on this, ultimately when building, we want to always ensure we stick to deadlines as much as possible, and here is no different. Every line of code, every partnership, every SDK/API - was built for the launch and growth of Script L1, so it is of course in our best interest to have it deployed as quick as possible. The hack however, pushed back this launch significantly as it meant we had to make a series of security changes, and reaudit the entire codebase. This may go without saying also to many, but this is a layer 1, not just a straight forward smart contract. It has taken years to build, and it takes months to audit. This is why there are so few L1s, especially of which that has genuine users. We are pleased to say the audit process is nearing its end and we still expect to launch by the end of Q1 / very early Q2 latest. More on this of course, will be announced throughout March.

Team
As you may have noticed, we have made a whole host of additions to our team and advisory board, with our goal of improving development, deadlines, and to gain significant growth in the streaming industry. We now have over 20+ committed team members across the company all focused on one core long term goal - to be THE solution to decentralised TV and film for users and enterprises.

DApps on Script Blockchain
We will soon be releasing an ecosystem page, showing some of the exciting emerging projects and tier 1 companies who are deploying, integrating or working with Script Network once we hit mainnet. We are excited that this number is at 15+ already, and growing weekly. That said, It’s important to note however that we are an infrastructure chain - and our original video tools, alongside the offering what we provide for AI computation and content management, is our core value add in the near term

Bridges and Interoperability
We are in discussion with a range of bridges to ensure there is a range of options for our holders to transfer NFTs and SCPT tokens not only between BSC and Script chain, but our other partner chains too. More on this will be announced in due course.

New to Script Testnet? Here is a small tutorial on how to become part of it:

1. Click here: https://wallet.script.tv
2. Choose to unlock an existing Script Wallet, or to create a new one.
3. After you do the login, you can request funds from the faucet, by heading to the ‘Recieve’ menu option, clicking it, and then clicking ‘Faucet‘ button.

All done, you should have your coins and you are ready to stake your coins, transfer the tokens between the wallets and much more! 💰

Please note:
- Staking more than once, overrides the pool time you are staked for. (If you stake on March 22nd, but again as a 'top up' on March 25th, your staking period will be reset to begin on March 25th, not March 22nd)
- Staking is not available on mobile, you will need to use desktop to access it
- v2 incentivised staking will go live later in March with more pools, NFT Glasspass staking and API access.

After being live for only 44 hrs, $scpt v1 staking pool has already been 94% filled!

More than 2.8M tokens have been locked and this shows immense faith in the project and support from our community. ❤️
