🏢 The Russian House in New Delhi invites you to the exhibition of modern Russian artist Olga Levchenko “In Search of the Eternal Grail or the Kaleidoscope of My Soul,” which will last from May 16 to 28.
Vernissage – May 16 at 6 p.m.
“I have been living in Varanasi for more than four years. For me this is the city of happiness. Watch how the color of the Ganges changes at different times of the day and at different times of the year, how the children running in the yard grow up, how the elders become wiser. And only the Ghats and temples remain unchanged, and you always want to draw them...”
🌄 You will see India and Nepal through the eyes of O. Levchenko: realistic painting is intertwined with impressionism in oil paintings, in color graphics - in oil and acrylic, and interior details are made of fabric and stone.

🏞 "Call of the Soul" by Klera Singh.
“I called my show “Call of the Soul” because when I paint, I’m happy and it’s like meditation. Some paintings depict mighty mountains with lakes, while others depict thickets of flowers. It is more like a walk in nature, which beautifies and enriches our lives.”
📆 On June 5 at 6:00 p.m., an exhibition of paintings by Klera Singh, a former radio presenter who worked for 54 years at All India Radio and is the first chairman of the Delhi Association of Russian Compatriots, will open in the Russian House.
🔹 This is Klera Singh's sixth solo exhibition.
🔖 “My first personal exhibition took place in 1964. The next one, many years later, in 1998. Some of my paintings are in private collections. This exhibition that I am exhibiting now appeared quite recently - during the Covid epidemic,” she said.
🔗 The exhibition is dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.

The exhibition "Russia on 64 Cells," prepared by the Alexander Pechersky Memorial Foundation and dedicated to the International Chess Day, has opened in the Russian House in New Delhi. The exposition tells about Soviet and Russian grandmasters and champions. As it’s known, the Soviet chess school had a tremendous impact on the development of chess in India, and the Soviet centers of science and culture played a significant role in this. On its basis many Indian professionals began their journey to the world of chess, including the most famous chess player in India, vice president of FIDE Viswanathan Anand.
Celebrating this event, the Russian House prepared a special showcase of books of the Soviet period on the theory and practice of playing chess, and the Chess club of the Russian House hosted the championship for students.
