The Agency continues to tell the stories of graduates of Soviet and Russian universities from neighboring countries in the new category #LeagueoftheBest.
The decisive role in the fate of each hero of the project was played by studying in Russia or in the Soviet Union. Graduates tell how their life turned out after getting education at the university, recall their student years and note the value of the knowledge, experience and connections gained during this time.
Oganes Arakelian is a graduate of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). While studying, Oganes and his friend from MGIMO opened an advertising agency, and two years later he became one of the founders of the «Citymobil» service. Later, together with friends from the university, Oganes opened a chain of creative spaces in Russia and Armenia. Today he is the chairman of the Armenian Alumni Club of MGIMO. Number of quotas for foreign citizens granted by the government of Russian Federation rises each year. For instance, in 2014 15,000 foreign students could obtain quotas and learn in Russian universities. This year, 30,000 quotas were granted.

The main task is to provide foreign citizens with a high—quality education so that upon their return to their homeland they can work for the economic development of their states. According to the Deputy Head of the Agency Pavel Shevtsov, quotas should be allocated to those specialization, which will be in high demand over the next 4-6 years.

In 2021, Rossotrudnichestvo created “Education in Russia” site - education-in-russia.com. Currently foreign citizens can apply for 2023-2024 academic year education quota.will be in high demand over the next 4-6 years.

The Russian House in New Delhi continues to conduct the information campaign to attract Indian applicants to the opportunity of obtaining higher education at Russian universities by getting scholarships under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation.

One of the first places to announce the selection campaign for the 2024/2025 academic year was the EmpowerEd Conference, organized by Maharishi University and company Educlouds in partnership with Civil 20 India 2023.

The conference, which was attended by over a hundred heads of Indian schools and universities, educational authorities and societies, was devoted to the issues of digitalization in education. Russian House presented the information system for selecting foreign students for education in Russia (https://education-in-russia.com) as an example of digitalization in Russian education and spoke about the start of a new admission.
