При поддержке Представительства Россотрудничества в Индии в Национальной галерее современного искусства в Нью-Дели состоялось открытие выставки, посвященная творчеству русского художника и философа Николя Константиновича Рериха.
С приветственным словом выступили Посол России в Индии Денис Алипов, Министр культуры Индии Ганерджа Сингх Шекхават и генеральный директор галереи Санджив Кишор Гаутам.
Украшением вечера стало выступление фольклорного ансамбля “Бермянчек” и фолк-группы “Закария” из Республики Татарстан.
В конце программы гостям была предоставлена возможность познакомиться с художественными работами Николая Рериха. Экспозиция охватывает «индийский» период его творчества и состоит из нескольких тематических разделов. Посетители смогли увидеть около 80 произведений художника, в том числе картины и эскизы из частных коллекций его сына Святослава Рериха, привезенные из десяти музеев и галерей со всей Индии.
Мероприятие посетили общественные и культурные деятели Индии, представители индийских государственных ведомств, дипломаты, журналисты, студенты и соотечественники.
