In 2023, Russian compatriots in India will continue to work towards preserving and strengthening the position of the Russian language in this country, forming youth associations of compatriots. A database of translators-immigrants from the USSR and post-Soviet states, lawyers, and teachers of the Russian language will be created.
Resolution of the X All-India Conference of Russian Compatriots, which took place in the Russian House in New Delhi, contains a total of 15 points - the action plan of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots (IARC) for the next 12 months. As the chairperson of the IARC Elena Barman said, "living here, we are honoured to bear the title of Russian conationals and our task, adopting Indian culture and preserving Russian, to carry our spiritual values to Indians."
"The Russian Embassy and the Russian House are called upon to support your initiatives, actions to strengthen ties between Russia and India, to promote the interests of Russia," said the Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov at the conference. "Thanks to interaction with associations of compatriots, we can achieve good results in our joint work."
The head of the diplomatic mission read out the greeting of the executive secretary of the Government Commission for Compatriots Abroad, director of the Department for Work with Compatriots Abroad of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Nurizade. "I emphasize the importance of maintaining internal unity in the community in modern realities, when attempts are made in a number of countries unfriendly to Russia to shake the foundations of the Russian world," the document says.
Director of the Russian House Oleg Osipov informed about the activities conducted through the Government Commission for Compatriots Abroad in relation to compatriots and called on organizations of Russian-speaking citizens to take more active part in them.
The conference was attended by delegates from New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Trivandrum, Chennai. The representative of the Russian Orthodox Church in India, Priest Dmitry Kulakov, and the founder of the first association of compatriots in the Asian country, the Delhi Association of Russian Compatriots (DARS, 2009), Klera Singh, spoke.

Doctors of the Luhansk Republican Children's Clinical Hospital are interning at the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology. Doctors will be trained in such areas as pediatric surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric traumatology, anesthesiology and resuscitation, radiation diagnostics and pediatric urology.

The Ryazan region delivered 4 trucks with construction materials to the sponsored district — the town of Novaya Kakhovka. They included: boards and bars of wood, insulation materials, metal coatings. The help will be directed to the restoration of the city.
2.5 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered from the Kaluga region to the village of Kamyshevakha. The cargo included food and potatoes.
A batch of humanitarian aid was handed over to the Terpenyev specialized boarding school of the Melitopol district of the Zaporozhye region. In total, the pupils received 100 food packages, bags of flour, sugar, cereals, household chemicals, warm clothes and children's literature.

Indian Trivandrum in Kerala and Russian Veliky Novgorod decided to become twin cities. "We must now get confirmation from the governments of both countries. Trivandrum City Hall will send a corresponding request to the government of Kerala and to the Ministry of Urban Development of India, "said Ratish Nair, director of the Russian House in this city in the very south of the Indian peninsula.

An agreement was signed in New Delhi on the creation of the Russian-Indian cultural and educational Center of L.Tolstoy and M.Gandhi on the basis of the Delhi school "Dwarka." Her partner will be Moscow school №1409 in the Northern Administrative District.

The Russian house in New Delhi handed over a batch of Russian language textbooks and fiction to the Indian school "Bluebells," where they study the syllable of Pushkin and Chekhov. Among the 33 titles of Russian printed materials are books for teachers, workbooks, dictionaries, test workshops, as well as CDs.
The ceremony of transferring literature to a long-time partner of the Russian House was timed to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the founding of the educational institution. Currently, Bluebells has 1875 students, and six foreign languages ​ ​ are studied at the school.
Suman Kumar, a member of the Board of Directors, noted the importance of replenishing the school's storerooms with printed publications from Russia, since they are "written, decorated and published in Russian civilization, accurate in all the details of the language and have a unique foreign flavor."
