The author of the book, ethnographer, Doctor of Historical Sciences Svetlana Ryzhakova, presented her work on the International stage, telling about the cultural traditions and unique aspects of the life of the peoples of Northern Bengal.
The presentation aroused keen interest among writers, ethnographers and guests of the fair.
Some of the copies were donated to leading universities in India.

Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr Elena Remizova met teachers and students of the Teremok school in Bangalore.
For three years, thanks to the efforts of a small group of enthusiasts, bilingual and Indian children have been learning to read, write, and speak Russian, are engaged in music and drawing.
For years, Teremok has become a place of attraction for the Russian-speaking community of Bangalore. Dr. Remizova donated russian language training book and childrens' literature to the school. On Russian Science Day, more than a hundred students from schools and colleges in the Indian capital gathered at the Russian House in New Delhi. Days of Russian language, literature and culture opened in the Russian House in New Delhi. More than a hundred Indian students from various universities took part in intellectual and creative competitions, quizzes, Olympiads in the Russian language, read poems and sang songs, and even pulled the rope. A strict jury selected the winners in various nominations - from creating a poster to creating a Russian costume. The finalists were awarded cups and certificates.
A surprise for all participants in the evening was the performance of the Moscow duet "Bohemia" - the performance of Russian folk songs, Russian and foreign hits in an amazing combination of balalaika and violin literally blew up the hall. The event ended to a standing ovation.
