10 greatest Russian CHOREOGRAPHERS of all time

Reducing the 250-year history of Russian ballet to a dozen or so names is difficult. Too many choreographers have given the world not just individual productions but universal concepts and new forms of artistic expression.
Thanks to these brilliant minds, European performing art became one of the highest expressions of national character and the very notion of what constitutes beauty.

This is the story of the people who radically changed Russian and world ballet, from Ivan Valberkh to Alexei Ratmansky.

Perm scientists have developed a method for the production of exoprostheses based on 3D printing and carbon fibers.

The technology will make it possible to create durable and high-quality prostheses for people who have lost a limb, which take into account all the individual characteristics of the body.

In total, the researchers created 16 mathematical models of the prosthesis, which allowed to study its mechanical interaction with muscle tissue.

One of the great Russian writers, Ivan Turgenev, passed away 140 years ago. He was one of the first to introduce political content into the Russian novel. This influenced the development of both Russian and foreign literature.
In Russia, streets, museums, libraries, cultural centers are named in memory of the writer. Today we will tell you about 5 such places in the Orel region.

🌳 Landscape square "Noblemen's Nest"
It was here that the events of Turgenev's novel of the same name about tragic love unfolded. From the cliff opens a panorama of the city, and when descending to the river, time seems to stop - there is no noise of streets, cars, bustle. Only narrow paths and meadows surrounded by trees.

📖 Literary Quarter
The literary quarter concentrates a large number of museums - the house of historian Granovsky, museums of Turgenev, Bunin, Orlovian writers and the house where General Efremov lived.

🌊 Turgenev's Shore and "Orel's Arbat"
Turgenev’s Shore is the bank of the Oka River, where little Ivan used to walk with his nanny. On the way to it you can walk along the pedestrian Lenin Street - "Orlovsky Arbat". Here was the hotel "Jordan", where the writer often stayed.

🏛 Museum-reserve Spasskoye-Lutovinovo
Turgenev's family estate is depicted on the pages of many works of the writer. This place has preserved the atmosphere of Turgenev's epoch. Today there is a manor house-museum, the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, the "outhouse of the exile" and an ancient park of the XIX century.
