Pavel Shevtsov, deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo, took part in the opening of the international educational project "Summer University " on 10 July.
Shevtsov noted that the project is actively developing. He also added that an increasing number of countries not only from the CIS but also from far abroad are showing interest in the educational program.
This year, the "Summer University " brought together 675 students from Armenia, Belarus, the DPR, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the LPR, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Educational intensives will be held for students in an interactive format at each of the "Summer University" project points. All participants of the project will be trained under the program "Accelerator of social projects". Students will develop socially-oriented projects in relevant areas with the support of mentors and representatives of industrial partners.
Engineering, bioengineering and medicine, history, philology, international journalism, tourism and service, marketing, economics and management, agriculture, design, speech therapy and defectology, pedagogy are the main areas of additional educational programs at the participating universities.
The project will continue until 24 July.
