Our superheroes - veterans who stopped the rapidly spreading Nazism and human slaughter during the World War II. According to the data, only less than 14 thousand veterans are still alive in Russia. Whereas the human losses of the Soviet Union are rounded to 27 million people, most of which were civilians.
Almost all veterans talk about the spiritual awakening they experienced during the war years, despite hardships and grief. Not only they defended their Motherland, but also liberated the people of European countries from the Nazi dominance.
❤️ These veterans are luckily still among us. It is based on them that we can correctly build our attitude towards the Motherland and towards the need to defend our values.

Dear friends, we are glad to share with you the works of a talanted Indian artist Nishant Kumar Meena. He is the winner of Victory Dictation-2024 held in Delhi in English. As Nishant tells, he draws his works being influenced by the Heroic deeds displayed by the Red Army soldiers during the Great Patriotic War. "Also I am quite fascinated with all the war memorials: Rear-front monument at Magnitogorsk, Kursk Battle memorial, Motherland's Call at Mamayev Kurgan, the Victory Obelisks in all the Hero Cities, and of course the Fortress of Brest", he confessed.

This year we celebrate the Victory Day with Galina Pavlovna Brock-Beltsova, the only living female navigator from the 125th Air Regiment, which the Germans nicknamed “Night Witches”.
She has dozens of combat missions under her belt on a Pe-2 bomber, and in 1944 she took part in Operation Bagration to liberate Belarus.
