🌎 The young futurologists are invited to model what the future will be like until 2100
The international youth online Competition of scientific and science fiction works “HORIZON 2100” that has involved already more than 2300 young people and experts from 92 world countries invites to participate creative youth fascinated by the distant future!
The young people – postgraduate students, specialists, students and school children of all the countries, nationalities and faith at the age from 16 to 30 years old are invited to take part in the Competition.
🔍 In 2023, the Competition applications are accepted until November 15 in two nominations:
✍️ scientific work – research, scientific and practical works – reflecting innovative and original ideas, scientific vision of the future of the planet and humanity at the turn of the year 2100;
✍️ science fiction work – story, essay, reportage – describing imaginary innovative and original ideas, fantastic events, phenomena and prospects for the future at the turn of the year 2100, giving them a scientific explanation.
The works of the representatives of the Russian youth are accepted in Russian.
The works of the representatives of foreign countries are accepted in English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and French.

More than 100 young scientists from 26 countries in Africa, Latin and Central America, Asia and neighboring countries are participating in the event. They will visit exhibitions of Russian scientific achievements, sessions on various topics of research activities and round tables.
📆 One of them - “Young Scientists: Science Without Borders” - will be held on November 29. Participants will discuss issues of international cooperation in the scientific field. The event was organized on the initiative of Rossotrudnichestvo with the participation of Southwestern State University.

🔄 From March 25 to April 30, 2024, the International Forum of Scientific Youth “Step into the Future” will be held in Moscow, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN). It will bring together about 1,500 young people from Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania.
Schoolchildren, elementary students of universities, colleges, technical schools, students of cadet corps, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools can take part.
The children will be treated to a scientific and technological exhibition of the best research and development, more than 50 thematic sections, scientific and educational platforms, a festival of young fashion designers, Olympiads and competitions. They will also get acquainted with scientific laboratories, engineering centers, and compete for the Russian Science and Technology Cup.
