👨👩👧👦 On July 8, thousands of people marched and rallied in protection of traditional family values in the center of Nicosia, Cyprus
❤️The action was held on the Day of family, love and fidelity. The participants carried the flags of Cyprus, Greece, Russia, as well as flags with the tricolor emblem of the traditional family “Mom, Dad, I am a happy family”, which became a symbol of the unification of the citizens of Cyprus in defense against Western encroachments on the rights of families and children. People chanted: "Hands off our children and education!"
The protesters opposed mandatory comprehensive sexuality education, from preschools to high schools in private and public schools. The country's parliament and the president approved this document, following the recommendations of the EU. The law does not take into account the religious or other beliefs and opinions of parents. 👨👩👧👦
💬“Russia is the first in the world that, as a state, is fighting for the preservation of traditional values based on the dominant religion in the country – Orthodox. Russia has protected the right of the family in law. It is the only country that is fighting against Satanism, for the opportunity to have these rights for all countries around the world,” said Vladimiros Gorin, representative of the Youth Club of Russian Compatriots of Cyprus.
The action was organized by the Active Citizens party with the support of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots of Cyprus.

❤️Акция прошла в День семьи, любви и верности. Участники несли флаги Кипра, Греции, России, а также флаги с триколор-эмблемой традиционной семьи «Мама, папа,я — счастливая семья», ставшие символом объединения граждан Кипра в защиту от западных посягательств на права семьи и детей. Люди скандировали: «Руки прочь от наших детей и образования!»
Митингующие выступили против обязательного всестороннего сексуального просвещения, начиная с дошкольных учреждений и заканчивая старшими классами частных и государственных школ. Парламент страны и президент одобрили этот документ, следуя рекомендациям ЕС. Закон не учитывает религиозные или иные убеждения и мнение родителей. 👨👩👧👦

Она — единственная из стран, кто бьется против сатанизма, за возможность иметь эти права всем странам во всем мире» — заявил представитель Молодежного клуба российских соотечественников Кипра Владимирос Горин.
Организатором акции выступила партия «Активные граждане» при поддержке Координационного совета российских соотечественников Кипра.
