«В 2014 году после госпереворота не всем украинцам нашлось место в своей родной стране, поэтому пришлось делать выбор и защищаться: нашим цивилизованным и законным выходом стал референдум — мирный и свободный, образец демократии, к которой стремятся все страны», - Наталья Поклонская о крымском референдуме.

«In 2014, after the coup d'etat, not all Ukrainians found a place in their native country, so they had to make a choice and defend themselves: our civilized and legitimate way out was a referendum - peaceful and free, a model of democracy that all countries strive for», Natalia Poklonskaya on the Crimean referendum.

The pink lake Sasyk-Sivash is the largest of the saline lakes of Crimea: its area is 75.3 sq. km, and the length is 14 km. The northern part is fresh, and the southern part is salty, the dam prevents the water from mixing. And although the name Sasyk-Sivash is translated as "stinking mud", this pink lake is rightfully considered one of the main attractions of the peninsula.
Sasyk-Sivash is a place with an extraordinary landscape. The pink color of the lake is due to the Dunaliella salina algae growing here. Sasyk-Sivash acquires its brightest color in July and August. At this time, the lake becomes smaller, the concentration of salt and pigment becomes higher. At the end of summer, when the water level becomes lower, small salt "icebergs" protrude from the lake.
Lake Sasyk-Sivash is famous not only for its beauty, but also for its healing mud and pink salt: since the time of the Scythians and the ancient Greeks, this place was considered sacred.
