The Agency for Strategic Initiatives and R&C Exhibition Research Centre have developed a system for assessing the development of industrial tourism in Russian regions.
The purpose of the system is to measure the level of development of industrial tourism in the regions and the degree of involvement of enterprises in this sphere, as well as the activity of regional authorities in promoting the production potential of plants and factories.
The Open Industry programme for the development of industrial tourism has been operating for 3 years, during this period 73 Russian regions were involved in it. According to the results of the pilot assessment, 13 regions became leaders in the development of industrial tourism in 2023.

Задача системы - измерять уровень развития промтуризма в регионах и степень вовлеченности предприятий в эту сферу, а также активность региональных властей по продвижению производственного потенциала заводов и фабрик.
Программа по развитию промышленного туризма «Открытая промышленность» функционирует 3 года, за этот период в нее было вовлечено 73 субъекта России. По итогам пилотной оценки в 2023 году лидерами по развитию промышленного туризма стали 13 регионов.

In 2024, the mutual flow of tourists between the two countries is planned to increase to 2 million trips.
This was announced by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, who as part of the delegation accompanies President Vladimir Putin during his visit to China.
In 2023, the number of trips exceeded 1,2 million, and now, thanks to the creation of comfortable conditions for tourists, the parties are striving to significantly increase this figure.

The experiment confirmed the prompt transmission of calls and coordinates along the entire route.
