New territories of Russia get 4 cinemas
With the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, 4 new cinemas opened in the cities of Rovenky and Sukhodolsk of the #LPR, as well as in Khartsyzsk and Zhdanovka of the #DPR. The total capacity of all cinemas is more than 700 seats.
Free screenings of the domestic film "Baba Yaga saves the world" will be held the first. From December 28, cinemas will have 5 sessions per day: 2 sessions of the films "Three Heroes and the Navel of the Earth" and "Magnificent Five", as well as 1 session of the film "New Year's Chef".
Cinemas have been opened as part of the national project "Culture".

The new annual Antares International Film Festival will be held in Sochi for the first time from June 24 to June 30.
The competition program of the film festival will include feature films, documentaries and animated films. They will be evaluated by a professional international jury.
The uniqueness of the Festival is that through the prism of the ciema art, Antares draws attention to the daily problems of the common man. Different generations of filmmakers will meet at the festival site, and the result of this synergy will be new creative projects in different parts of the world.
Films not included in the competition program will be shown on
the digital platform, and viewers from all over the world will participate in the voting to determine the five strongest works.

Delegates from different countries learned about the history of the studio, saw the sets, costumes and equipment that were used in the filming of famous films, and also saw awards such as the Oscar, Golden Lion, Golden Globe, Golden Bear and Cesar. Participants visited several filming pavilions and one outdoor site, where streets of the last century were recreated in life-size.
