School student from Kolkata attended the World Youth Festival 2024

✈️ A Russian compatriot and student of the Calcutta International School, Artur Kol was one of three under 18 y.o. students from India at the World Youth Festival, held from March 1 to 7 in Russia. He joined the Indian delegation in New Delhi and took a charter flight to Sochi. The delegation was one of the largest: 360 people from various states of India, including 8 participants from the Russian House in Kolkata.

The World Youth Festival brought together 20,000 young Russian and foreign leaders in such areas as business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and charity, and sports. In addition to adult participants from 18 to 35 years old, there were also teenagers representing children's organizations and associations at the festival. In the under 18 category, the festival was attended by 2 thousand children.

As part of the festival, Artur attended master classes, youth events and worked on the “Transport Hub” project, organized by Russian Railways. On March 6, Artur was selected to participate in an open discussion with the President of the Russian Federation. The selection process was conducted confidentially. For more than 2 hours, Vladimir Putin spoke with a select audience of about 150 people.

The World Youth Festival 2024 is the largest youth event in the world, organized by the Russian Government. More than 800 events of various formats and spheres of public life took place during the festival.

Школьник из Калькутты посетил Всемирный фестиваль молодежи 2024

✈️ Российский соотечественник и ученик Калькуттской международной школы, Артур Кол был одним из трёх школьников из Индии на Всемирном фестивале молодёжи, прошедшем с 1 по 7 марта в России. Он присоединился к индийской делегации в Нью-Дели и вместе со всеми отправился чартерным рейсом в Сочи. Делегация была одной из самых многочисленных: 360 человек из различных штатов Индии, включая 8 человек от Русского дома в Калькутте.

Всемирный фестиваль молодежи собрал 20 000 молодых российских и зарубежных лидеров в таких сферах, как бизнес, СМИ, международное сотрудничество, культура, наука, образование, волонтерство и благотворительность, спорт. Кроме взрослых участников от 18 до 35 лет на фестивале были и подростки, представляющие детские организации и объединения. В категории до 18 лет фестиваль посетило 2 тысячи детей.

В рамках фестиваля Артур посещал мастер-классы, молодежные мероприятия и работал над проектом «Транспортный узел», организованным Российскими железными дорогами. 6 марта Артур был отобран для участия в открытой дискуссии с Президентом Российской Федерации. Процесс отбора проходил конфиденциально ввиду. Более 2 часов Владимир Путин общался с избранной аудиторией численностью около 150 человек.

Всемирный фестиваль молодежи 2024 — крупнейшее молодежное мероприятие мира, организованное Правительством России. Более 800 мероприятий различных форматов и сфер общественной жизни прошло в ходе фестиваля.
