🌐 It was attended by 50 delegates from Iran, Egypt, Pakistan, Lebanon, Yemen, Morocco and other countries who came to Russia under the New Generation program of Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency.
💬 The discussion focuses on topics such as family values, life and dignity, lifelong learning and professional self-realization, friendship between peoples and national identity. The meeting participants talked about the role of the family in modern society and how important its values are in raising a child.
Particular attention was paid to the topic of the impact of the global Internet on the younger generation.

👍 Cheburashka, the mascot of #WYF2024, also joined the expedition. He became a passenger aboard the nuclear icebreaker, «50 Years of Victory,» and celebrated his birthday at the North Pole on August 20th.

🧳 Participants of the foresight session of young leaders “My city of the future is a city of sustainable development” visited Gorodets in Nizhny Novgorod region. There they got acquainted with local folk crafts: Gorodets style hand painting, special wood carvings, chimneys made of milled iron, gold embroidery, and even made the famous Gorodets gingerbread with their own hands.
✨ Delegates learned how to organize new public spaces and hold major events in the field of youth tourism. They were also told how tourist navigation would be created within the city’s museum quarter, the embankment would be improved to accommodate passengers, and more.

Collaboration between Russian and Indian universities was discussed at the IIT Kharagpur.
Andrey Kondratiev, CEO of CDO Global, representatives of the Russia India Special Interest Group (RISING), an initiative of Chamber for Indo-Russian technology collaboration partnership with RUSSOFT Association and (Technological Sovereignty Exports Association) had a meeting at the IIT Kharagpur to promote common academic collaboration between the two countries.
The discussion was attended by the Director of IIT Kharagpur, Prof V K Tiwari and Deans and senior professors from the institute to proliferate areas of mutual cooperation between IIT and some of the Russian institutes.
IIT Kharagpur (Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur), established in 1951, is the oldest and largest IIT in India offering world-class education and research opportunities across disciplines. It is one of the most premier institutes in the country and is recognized globally for its quality of students, talents, faculty, alumni, and research output in Science & Technology, Humanities & Social Science, and Management.
IIT has been in discussion with some of the premier Universities in Russia with an objective to develop common areas of collaboration, which are of strategic importance to both nations, such as, Energy, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, AI and Analytics, Management and leadership for the new world order, etc.

The technology will make it possible to create durable and high-quality prostheses for people who have lost a limb, which take into account all the individual characteristics of the body.
In total, the researchers created 16 mathematical models of the prosthesis, which allowed to study its mechanical interaction with muscle tissue.
