According to historians, ancient people diligently laid out spiral rock patterns on the ground, which have now been found in Karelia, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions. And entire scientific works have been written about the purpose of these structures.

April 14 is the Kamchatka official memorable date – the Valley of Geysers opening day.
The Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka is one of the seven wonders of Russia – the unique natural monument and one of the biggest geyser fields in the world. There are many mud pots, hot and steaming springs, thermal areas, hot and warm lakes, streams and waterfalls in a small canyon.
The valley is situated 180 km north-east from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, within the Kronotsky State Reserve, between the volcanoes Kikhpinych and Uzon.
The Valley was discovered by geologist Tatyana Ustinova. The first geyser became the "First-born". 20 bigger geysers and several hundreds of thermal water outlets were later discovered in the sides of the canyon and in the river bed, as well as at the Geyser Lake bottom.
The geysers have unusual names. "Sugar", "Pearl", "Malachite", "Pink" were named because of the geyserite characteristic color. "Triple," "Grotto," "Furnace," "Inaccessible," "Frying Pan," "Neighbor," "Gap," and "Treacherous" were named because of the outlet conditions. "Giant," "Fountain," "Big," and "Small" were named because of their power.
In 1996 the Valley of Geysers was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Долина гейзеров на Камчатке – одно из семи чудес России – уникальный памятник природы и одно из наиболее крупных гейзерных полей мира. Здесь в небольшом каньоне можно наблюдать грязевые котлы, горячие и парящие источники, термальные площадки, горячие и теплые озера, ручьи и водопады.
Долина находится в 180 километрах северо-восточнее города Петропавловска-Камчатского, в пределах Кроноцкого государственного заповедника, между вулканами Кихпиныч и Узон.
Открыла Долину геолог Татьяна Устинова. Первый гейзер стал «Первенцем». Позднее были обнаружены еще 20 крупных гейзеров и несколько сотен выходов термальных вод – в бортах каньона и в русле реки, а также на дне озера Гейзерного.
У гейзеров необычные имена. «Сахарный», «Жемчужный», «Малахитовый, «Розовый» получили названия из-за характерной окраски гейзерита. «Тройной», «Грот», «Печка», «Недоступный», «Сковородка», «Сосед», «Щель» и «Коварный» – из-за условий выхода. «Великан», «Фонтан», «Большой», «Малый» – благодаря их мощности.
В 1996 году Долина гейзеров была включена в список Всемирного природного наследия ЮНЕСКО.

On April 18, Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered more than 700 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine and Donbass. The cargo included: bottled water, baby food, medical supplies and building materials.
Also, humanitarian aid included ten fire trucks based on KamAZ and Ural vehicles, four integrated water treatment plants, four power plants, 28 motor pumps, 15 chainsaws, and 30 electrical units.

Vyacheslav Trubnikov, Ambassador of Russia to India of the years 2004-2009, is no more
Hero of Russia, General of the Army, Vyacheslav Trubnikov (1944-2022) devoted his entire life to serving the Motherland. His glorious path in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR and Russia is a worthy example of courage and loyalty to the Oath. He became the first director of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
He was a brilliant diplomat and scholar, a thorough connoisseur of India. This is the only country with which Russia maintains relations in the status of a particularly privileged strategic partnership. This level of trust is largely the merit of Vyacheslav Ivanovich.
