The Russian house in New Delhi is happy to announce that soon it will start the 2023/2024 academic year Russian Government’s Scholarship programme. Within the framework of this programme, you will have a chance to receive a grant for a free of cost higher education in Russian leading universities.
The official portal for applying for scholarship is currently being tested by the developers and will be launched as soon as all the required works are completed. Check our Facebook regularly for the announcement of the official date of the start of application process.
Meanwhile you can start to prepare all the necessary documents:
▪️ Copy of the documents that prove your current level of education: certificate and mark sheets of 10th and 12th class (for candidates who apply for bachelor and specialty degrees); degree and full transcript of marks – if you are applying for masters or PhD programmes;
▪️ Students who are finishing their school in 2023 MUST provide 10th and 11th class results and a letter from school confirming that they are currently undergoing a 12th class programme and will attend the final exams this year.
▪️ Students who are finishing their educational programmes (bachelor and master’s degrees) in 2023 MUST provide all semester-wise mark sheets available at the moment and a letter from university confirming that they are a final year students and will graduate in 2023 upon successful completion of their final exams;

On October 4, 1957, the first artificial satellite Sputnik-1 was launched into Earth's orbit.
The device was launched into orbit by a R-7 launch vehicle from the 5th Tyura-Tam Research Test Site of the USSR Ministry of Defense. Subsequently, it received the name Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Famous scientists led by the founder of practical cosmonautics Sergei Korolev worked on the creation of Sputnik-1.
The satellite remained in orbit until January 4, 1958, making 1,440 circulations around the Earth (about 60 million km), and its radio transmitters worked for three weeks after launch. Due to friction against the upper atmosphere, Sputnik-1 lost speed, entering the dense layers of the atmosphere.

Russian builders are completing the restoration of the destroyed bridge over the Seversky Donets River in the LPR.
Specialists have already started installing the supports, their height varies from 8 meters to 15 meters. The total length of the bridge is about 200 meters. There are about 100 builders and 20 pieces of equipment — dump trucks, loaders, tractors and multi-ton cranes. Work is going on around the clock. It is planned to hand over the facility by the end of the year. Before the onset of cold weather, builders also expect to repair about 200 kilometers of roads.

В Коста-Рике прошла региональная конференция российских соотечественников. В ней приняли участие представители русских диаспор из Америки, Новой Зеландии и Австралии, сотрудники МИД России и Русского дома в Манагуа.
Участники обсудили актуальные вопросы, стоящие перед русскоязычной диаспорой: защиту прав и законных интересов соотечественников, поддержку, продвижение русского языка и культуры России, экономическое сотрудничество с российскими регионами. Речь также шла о развитии молодежного движения соотечественников.
Результатом конференции стала резолюция, в которой соотечественники выразили решительный протест против русофобии, попыток «отмены» России и преследования граждан. Кроме того, участники призвали российский парламент разработать юридическое определение термина «русофобия» для применения в международном праве.

Moscow schoolchildren brought four gold medals from the International Astronomy Olympiad
From September 26 to October 2, the first Open International Astronomy Olympiad was held remotely, where children from Russia received six awards of the highest value.
The team included winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in astronomy from Moscow and Russian Republic of Mordovia. Ekaterina Bobkova, a graduate of the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center of Moscow State University named after Andrey Kolmogorov, became an absolute winner of the Olympiad. Elisey Zhdanov, a graduate of the Physics and Mathematics School No. 2007, Ilya Prosyanoy, a graduate of the Letovo School, and Kirill Roshchin, an 11th grade student of the CPM School, also received gold medals.
Teams from Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Singapore took part in the Olympiad. The participants competed in four rounds: theoretical, practical, observational and test. They solved research problems, tests for logic and knowledge, processed and analyzed astronomical data.

С 26 сентября по 2 октября в дистанционном формате прошла первая открытая Международная астрономическая олимпиада, где ребята из России получили шесть наград высшего достоинства.
В команду вошли победители и призеры Всероссийской олимпиады школьников по астрономии из Москвы и Мордовии. Выпускница СУНЦ МГУ имени Андрея Колмогорова Екатерина Бобкова стала абсолютной победительницей олимпиады. In March 2023, the V Moscow International Vladimir Krainev Piano Competition will take place.
Pianists from different countries are invited to participate at the age of:
- from 8 to 12 years;
- from 13 to 16 years;
- from 17 to 22 years old.
Tests will be held in three stages: qualifying round, preliminary listening, competitive auditions. As part of the last stage, the participant must play one or more pieces that, in his opinion, reflect the further development of classical music and the forms of its performance.
An artist can present an author's composition, improvise on a free theme, and also involve other musicians to implement his idea.
The finalists, as well as their teachers, will receive cash prizes and diplomas.

More than 40 young Russian compatriots from Armenia, Belarus, DPR, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia came to Crimea to participate in the art school "Hello, Russia!".
From October 4 to 10, teenagers will get acquainted with the creative life of modern Russia. Music and theater laboratories, art workshops, sports and dance classes, acquaintance with experts, a grant competition, as well as self-development trainings, concerts, quests and excursions await them.
The trip is held as part of the Rossotrudnichestvo program of the same name on the platform of the Tavrida art cluster.

С 4 по 10 октября ребята познакомятся с креативной жизнью современной России. Их ждут музыкальная и театральная лаборатории, художественные мастер-классы, спортивные и танцевальные занятия, знакомство с экспертами, грантовый конкурс, а также тренинги по саморазвитию, концерты, квесты и экскурсии.
Заезд проходит в рамках одноимённой программы Россотрудничества на платформе арт-кластера «Таврида».

More than 40 young Russian compatriots from Armenia, Belarus, DPR, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia came to Crimea to participate in the art school "Hello, Russia!".
From October 4 to 10, teenagers will get acquainted with the creative life of modern Russia. Music and theater laboratories, art workshops, sports and dance classes, acquaintance with experts, a grant competition, as well as self-development trainings, concerts, quests and excursions await them.
The trip is held as part of the Rossotrudnichestvo program of the same name on the platform of the Tavrida art cluster.
