✅The exhibition is is presented in India for the first time and it holds special significance as it marks the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege.
The exhibition includes over 100 digitized materials from Victory Museum's collections—photographs, documents, maps, newspapers, posters, and artistic works capturing scenes from the life of the blockaded city. The materials cover events from the beginning of the city's defence in July 1941 to the celebratory salute in honour of the complete lifting of the blockade on January 27, 1944.
🔴During the inauguration of the exhibition you will be shown the interactive presentation of the largest Russian News Agency ТАСС and will be having the conversation with the invited guests.

📸The photo exhibition "Leningrad Liberation Salute" from the largest museum of military history in Russia, Victory Museum, Moscow, is presented for the first time in India at Russian House, Chennai.
✅The exhibition includes over 100 digitized materials from Victory Museum's collections—photographs, documents, maps, newspapers, posters, and artistic works capturing scenes from the life of the blockaded city.
❤We were glad to host the students from one of the best higher education institutions in India - University of Madras and Loyola College and marked the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi Siege together.
👉The audience came to know new details and facts about the Siege of Leningrad from the interactive presentation created by the largest Russian news agency ТАСС, made a virtual video journey to the unique museum "Lenrezerv".
The event was inaugurated by Consul General of the Russian Federation in Chennai Oleg N. Avdeev, who mentioned that the courage and sacrifice of the people of Leningrad continue to be remembered and honoured as a testament to the human spirit's capacity to endure even in the face of unimaginable adversity.
❤Special vote of thank to Dr. Nansi Paulraj, Head of the Department of International Relations, Loyola College.
📅The exhibition is open for the visitors till January 30, Monday-Friday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
