VERY heavy bombardment of Kalininsky District (city center, east of Kalmius River) for the last 30 minutes. VERY heavy.

An 11-year-old child died along with his mother In Donetsk today.

Light aluminum fragments were found in large quantities on the spot, which indicates the use of the BM-21 Grad MLRS.

The BM-21 "Grad" is a self-propelled 122 mm multiple rocket launcher designed in the Soviet Union in the early 1960s.

That is for the whistle-blowers that "NATO weapons are now changing things".

AFU mostly shoots Grads, though some 155 NATO calibers were also used today, Ukrainians were given very little supply of this ammo. They would need at least a few hundred of them, and still at this stage their army is demoralized and the trained artillerists are mostly eliminated.

Even if they were given the right amount of weapons the time would not allow them for the proper training.

These weapons are good enough to compete with Russian equivalents, but there are not enough of them nor do the AFU have trained personnel for them.

Today's shelling of Donetsk was the most intense in the last 8 years...
