During the last evening and night rocket strikes were carried out on a number of railway infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. One of these strikes hit the railway junction in Lvov, where at that moment there was a train full of 155-mm shells from Poland for American howitzers.
The impact caused the detonation of ammunition and the complete destruction of this party.
The destruction of substations feeding several directions of the railways of Ukraine led to a massive delay in the movement of trains. The movement of the trains with NATO weapons was interrupted: Lvov-Zaporozhye, Chop-Kyiv, Zaporozhye-Kiev, Lvov-Kiev, Uzhgorod-Odessa, Uzhgorod-Kiev and a few others.
Approximately 80% of the train traffic is done by electric locomotives. These branches serve about 10 large substations.
