The FSB established that the murder of a military correspondent, along with Daria Trepova, was being prepared by a member of the Ukrainian DRG, Yuriy Denisov. Through an intermediary, he gave her an explosive device disguised as a plaster bust of a military commissar.

North Korea has tested a new Hwaseong-18 solid-propellant intercontinental ballistic missile.

The launch was attended by the leader of the country, Kim Jong-un, along with his daughter, wife and sister.

The new missile will significantly restructure North Korea's strategic deterrence force, improve readiness for a nuclear counterattack, and transform the practicality of offensive military strategy, the North Korean leader said.

Kim Jong-un promised that until the enemies give up their "stupid thinking and excesses", they will be dealt a "deadly offensive blow", make them "tremble with fear and extreme anxiety."

This rocket launch was the 12th since the beginning of the year, in nine cases Pyongyang tested ballistic missiles.
