Locals even tried to take him away a few times, but the dog refused to eat, howled and escaped, longing for his deceased friend. Take a look at the rescue of this sea lion on Sakhalin Island in Russia’s Far East. The helpless animal with pneumonia was found in the water by local residents. They filmed it and called for help.

When the team of volunteers arrived, the animal had already been carried away in an unknown direction. The team searched for him until nightfall. After finding the animal, the treatment took several days. When the sea lion's condition improved, he began to resist the injections and run away from the doctors. Now he has already been released into the sea.
