Acting Patriarchal Exarch of Africa led the Divine Liturgy in Dar es Salaam
📅 On March 3 acting Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Bishop Konstantin of Zaraisk co-served by the Russiam and Tanzanian clergy, led the Divine Liturgy at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam.
The service was performed in Swahili, Church Slavonic and English.
The Liturgy was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Tanzania Andrey Avetisyan, Chief of Staff of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Tanzania, Vice Admiral Leonid Sukhanov, Director of the Russian House in Tanzania Alexey Bondaruk, compatriots and local residents, including students of the Kisarawe educational center.
At the end of the service, Bishop Konstantin thanked those gathered for their joint prayer and delivered an archpastoral word.
Ambassador Andrey Avetisyan and the rector of the parish, Archimandrite Filaret addressed response to the Bishop.

📅 3 марта и.о. Патриаршего экзарха Африки епископ Зарайский Константин в сослужении российского и танзанийского духовенства совершил Божественную литургию в Русском Доме в Дар-эс-Саламе.
Богослужение совершалось на суахили, церковнославянском и английском языках.
На Литургии присутствовали Чрезвычайный и Полномочный посол России в Танзании А. Аветисян, руководитель аппарата Министерства обороны РФ в Танзании вице-адмирал Л. Суханов, руководитель Русского Дома в Танзании А. Бондарук, соотечественники и местные жители, в том числе воспитанники образовательного центра г. Кисараве.
По окончании службы владыка Константин поблагодарил собравшихся за совместную молитву и произнес архипастырское слово.
С ответными словами к архиерею обратились посол А. Аветисян и настоятель прихода архимандрит Филарет.

🗣 В Танзании завершилась крупная научная конференция
Русский Дом в Танзании совместно с Институтом Африки РАН организовал и провел международную научную конференцию «Место Африки в мире: прошлое и настоящее», посвященную 300-летию Российской академии наук (РАН).
Конференция проходила с 1 по 3 марта на базе Российского центра науки и культуры (РЦНК) в Дар-эс-Саламе в офлайн и онлайн форматах.
🌍 В мероприятии приняли участие более 70 ученых-африканистов из Танзании, России, ЮАР, Ганы, Словакии, Эфиопии, Индии и Нидерландов. Спикеры выступили с докладами, посвященными широкому спектру проблем в странах Африки южнее Сахары.
🇷🇺 Российскую африканистику представила делегация, в состав которой вошли более 20 человек. Это ученые и студенты-африканисты из Института Африки, Института всеобщей истории и Института этнологии и антропологии РАН, российских университетов МГИМО, РГГУ, ВШЭ, СПбГУ, Музея антропологии и этнографии и др. Делегацию возглавил заместитель директора Института Африки РАН, член-корреспондент РАН Д. Бондаренко.
🤝Проведение научных конференций в Танзании стала для Русского Дома и Института Африки РАН доброй традиций.
📌Так, в марте 2019 года в одном из ведущих вузов Танзании - Академии памяти Мвалиму Ньерере прошла международная научная конференция социологов «Государственное строительство в Африке: перспективы и вызовы современности». В четырехдневном форуме приняли участие социологи и политологи из 9 стран, включая Танзанию и Россию.
📌 В ноябре 2020 года по инициативе Русского Дома в Дар-эс-Саламе и во взаимодействии с Институтом Африки РАН прошла видеоконференция «История и итоги деколонизации», посвященная 60-летию принятия Генассамблеей ООН в декабре 1960 года «Декларации о предоставлении независимости колониальным странам и народам».
📌А в марте 2022 года на базе Русского Дома состоялась конференция «Лидерство и власть в Африке в прошлом и настоящем: исследования ученых России, Танзании и других стран», приуроченная к отмечаемому к 100-летию со дня рождения Джулиуса Ньерере. Участниками прошлого мероприятия стали 109 человек из 16 стран.

The conference was held on 1-3 of March at the Russian-Tanzanian Center for Science and Culture in Dar es Salaam in both offline and online formats.
🌍 More than 70 African scientists from Tanzania, Russia, South Africa, Ghana, Slovakia, Ethiopia, India and the Netherlands took part in the event. Speakers made presentations on a wide range of issues in sub-Saharan Africa.
The Russian African Studies was represented by a delegation consisting of more than 20 people. These are scientists and African studies students from the Institute of African Studies, the Institute of World History and the Institute of Ethnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian universities of MGIMO, Russian State University for the Humanities, the Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg State University, etc.The delegation was headed by the Deputy Director of the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Prof D. Bondarenko.
🤝 Holding scientific conferences in Tanzania has become a good tradition for the Russian House and the Institute of Africa of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
