📅 On 31st of October, Russian language courses were reopened in Zanzibar.
Classes are held at the premises of one of the largest travel companies in Zanzibar "Sun Tours".
👩🏫The course teacher is Maria Pateeva, a specialist of Russian Language, who holds a diploma from the Institute of Russian Language and Culture of Moscow State University.
A new intensive Russian language course for tourism will help Zanzibaris to handle the growing number of upcoming tourists arrival from Russia.
Before the COVID period, the courses were conducted successfully under the guidance of the Russian, a biologist scientist Ekaterina Kalashnikova, who lives in Zanzibar.

🎭 Пьеса «Бесприданница» собирает тысячи зрителей на фестивале в Багамойо
📅 28 октября на 42-ом Международном арт-фестивале в танзанийском городе Багамойо с большим успехом прошла премьера спектакля «Бесприданница» на языке суахили.
🇹🇿 Перевод пьесы осуществили сотрудники Русского Дома, лучшие переводчики языка суахили - Бернард Сепету и Рифат Патеев.
Спектакль по пьесе великого русского драматурга Александра Островского на ежегодном фестивале искусств поставила приглашенная Русским Домом молодежная театральная труппа «Зази Продакшнс". Артисты наполнили постановку африканским колоритом, что сделало представление понятным и интересным танзанийской публике.
Более 2000 зрителей с замиранием сердца следили за развитием сюжета, сопереживали главной героине. По мнению гостей и организаторов праздника, спектакль, представленный молодыми артистами, стал самым "трогательным событием" фестиваля искусств.
📅 1 декабря спектакль пройдет в Русском Доме в Дар-эс-Саламе.
Постановка стала завершением большого проекта представительства Россотрудничества в Танзании, посвященного к 200-летию со дня рождения русского драматурга Александра Островского.

📅 On 28th of October, at the 42nd International Festival of Art and Culture in the Tanzanian city of Bagamoyo, the premiere of the play " Without a dowry " in Swahili was held with great success.
🇹🇿 The translation of the play was carried out by the staff of the Russian House, the best translators of the Swahili language - Bernard Sepetu and Rifat Pateev.
The theater troupe "Zazi Productions" comissioned by the Russian House staged the performance based on the play by the great Russian playwriter Alexander Ostrovsky. The artists filled the production with African flavor, which made the performance understandable and interesting to the Tanzanian public.
More than 2000 viewers followed the plot with a throbbing heart, empathizing with the main character. According to the guests and organizers of the Festival, the performance presented by the artists became the most "touching event" of the Festival of arts.
📅 On 1st of December, the performance will take place at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam.
The production was the completion of a large project of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Tanzania dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky.

🎓Preparatory courses for students from Tanzania 🇹🇿, Zambia and Ethiopia, who intend to study in Russian universities in the engineering and technical profiles, started on the 1st of November.
The project is being implemented at the premises of Russian Houses in African countries with the support of leading Russian universities.
📋 The classes will be conducted online four times a week with the guidance of university teachers. One day a week, teachers of the Russian Houses will conduct classes in the full-time format.
🇷🇺 In the first semester the students will be taught Russian language intensively, and in the second semester it is planned for them to study not only the Russian language, but also the scientific terminologies, mathematics, physics and computer science in Russian.
Upon the successful completion of the preparatory courses the students will receive certificates and will be able to continue their studies at the 1st year.
