But there's also a positive trend that this ignorance is going away step by step, especially outside the capital city. It's interesting how the flag of Pakistan is being used as the symbol of Muslim solidarity in villages and small towns.

​​Я не раз говорил, что меня читают много мусульман из разных краев и многие из них воспринимают нашу страну как братскую, находясь с нами морально и в горе, и в радость. Эта ситуация не исключение и вот уже в течении двух дней боевых действий я получил в комментариях, в личке и в боте поддержку от узбеков, аварцев, татар, лезгин, даргинцев, пакистанцев, казахов, берберов, черкесов, палестинцев, чеченцев, таджиков, киргизов, индонезийцев, саудитов - всех братьев не счесть и благо знаю многих.

На скрине можете увидеть, как наш дорогой алжирский брат выражает солидарность с нами в этой борьбе с горе-крестоносцами Кавказа.

Публикую я это не для красного словца, а чтобы донести важную мысль. К сожалению в моей стране немало тех, кто ведётся на низкосортную изоляционистскую пропаганду, что мусульманам вокруг то и дело плевать на наши беды и, следовательно, никакой солидарности нам самим проявлять не нужно.

Пускай и не каждое правительство рассуждает об этой проблеме (хотя я уже приводил примеры, когда нам помогали и Саудовская Аравия, и Пакистан, и Катар), но мусульманская улица в любой стране всегда будет переживать за своих единоверцев.

Это касается и нас - азербайджанцев. Мы не меньше должны быть морально, а по возможности и иными способами, быть рядом с нашими братьями в Сирии, в Палестине, в Магрибе, в Центральной Азии, на Балканах, в Юго-Восточной Азии, в Сахеле. Потому что это наша обязанность перед Всевышним в первую очередь. И во многом этот канал существует, чтобы мусульмане из разных регионов могли узнавать о положении друг друга.

For years, Muslims in the West were told that having Muslims in media, politics, and academia would benefit the Muslim community. Therefore, we should support Muslim political candidates, send our children to become journalists and academics, fund organizations dedicated to Muslim representation in these institutions of power.

After nearly two decades of this strategy, what is the fruit? Has the Muslim community benefitted in any way? We have had many Muslims working for the White House, many Muslims elected to office, many Muslim professors, journalists, comedians, filmakers, influencers, etc. Where is the benefit?

All we see are liberalized cultural Muslims who barely have any connection to the larger community, most of them are technically not even Muslim. They have no interest in helping Muslims in particular - that would be biased! They only know how to take the community's resources for their own career advancement because, somehow, "representation" is enough of a benefit. As if having our community represented by murtaddin is going to help us.

This is a tried and tested method of liberalism to secularize religious communities. The liberal French and British colonial powers would select "gifted" Muslims from their colonies to go study in Paris and London. Those Muslims would become fully liberalized then return to Muslim lands and be appointed to high ranking positions in the colonial government, universities, media, etc.

Then if the Muslims complained about colonialism, the colonialists just pointed to the existence of these "Muslim" officials and said, "See, you are being ruled by your fellow Muslims, not a foreign power!"

This is the deception you contribute to when you support "Muslim" politicians, media figures, journalists, etc.
