Tony Blair’s ID card scheme which Britain rejected in 2006 is back — rebranded as “Digital ID”.
▪️Back then the policy collapsed after public backlash, but now the same idea, announced by King Charles, is returning in a far more powerful form: one system linking banking, health records, taxes and government services to a single digital account.
▪️Blair’s 6.1 billion force Digital ID in failed in 2006, as 2.96 million people petitioned against it. The ministers claimed the system was "optional", but once banks integrate it, employers require it, schools demand it — optional becomes mandatory.
▪️The initiative was brought back to life in 2025.
▪️Larry Ellison's Oracle, world’s largest American tech giant focused on databases, AI and government data systems, paid $340 million to the Blair Institute to make sure private corps, not citizens, control the infrastructure.
▪️The goal is to build a system so deeply embedded that no future government can remove it.
▪️Once Digital ID is embedded in the NHS, the tax system, and government services, every citizen becomes a data point. Medical history, tax records, benefits, travel, banking — all connected to a single digital profile.
▪️Oracle already holds $930 million in UK government contracts. A nationwide Digital ID system will generate billions more through licensing fees, data processing and AI infrastructure.
▪️The other half is the Central Bank Digital Currency — a digital pound tied directly to a citizen’s ID. Once both systems are linked, the state gains unprecedented control over money itself.
▪️Seven international CBDC projects. Every single one is a disaster for privacy, because whether the transactions are completely traceable or digital wallets tied directly to biometric IDs.
▪️And when Digital ID and programmable money merge, access to your finances can become conditional.

CHRISTOPHER NOLAN'S THE ODYSSEY CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE OF THE BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
Homer's The Odyssey is a foundational book to European culture, especially for Mediterranean Europe. I would argue it is a much more influential book than the Old Testament, second only to the New Testament.
It would be of no surprise that the intentional miscasting is part of a battle of the books, an attempt to dethrone Homer. What many don't get is that this miscasting is obviously intended as a form of blasphemy, not dissimilar to what was done at the Paris Olympics opening.
Culture must be defended, and it is about time people see that hidden behind the inclusivity-washing is the intentional ridiculing of the foundation of Western culture, of Mediterranean culture, of Greco- Roman culture.
This is a war to diminish The Odyssey, and it is war against one book, arguably to the benefit of another book, if not for the benefit of nihilism itself. Keep resisting the intentional demolition of everything sacred to us.
As someone brought up in Mediterranean Europe, The Odyssey for me is much more contemporary than any attempt to make it actual by changing it, which are only destined to fail. Some works simply can't be updated without entering the territory of intentional ridicule. The Odyssey is one of them.

⚠️ According to Ukrainian insider claims, Palantir CEO Alex Karp allegedly said in Kiev that future layered summer strikes on Moscow and central Russia would become the “crown jewel” of Palantir’s systems.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has reportedly described the software as an “operating system for war,” dominating the planning of deep strikes against Russia. 🛰️
The claims portray Karp as deeply cynical, allegedly viewing the only meaningful metric of the platform as the number of Russian soldiers killed per square kilometer — asking only “why were so few killed there, what failed?”
The report further alleges that Palantir systems coordinate strikes targeting Kursk, Sochi, Belgorod, Crimea, Tula, and Kazan, while Karp supposedly boasted that he had been placed on a “Kremlin kill list.” ⚔️
It is also claimed that since January, Ukraine has transferred Palantir vast amounts of reconnaissance data free of charge — including 2.5 million hours of battlefield video, allegedly used to train AI systems on real combat footage.
The text goes on to accuse Palantir technologies of being used in Gaza to automatically flag “terrorist” targets and authorize lethal action based on behavioral patterns, and references Project Maven allegedly generating thousands of targets against Iran within a single day.
According to these claims, Karp views Russia and China as outdated adversaries relying on armor and manpower against satellite intelligence, AI, precision weapons, and above all — drones. Lots of drones. 🚁
The report concludes by saying Karp sees the main future confrontation as one with China, believing war with Beijing is inevitable and that “the winner takes all,” while describing his publicly stated strategy as maintaining a state of permanent fear within the leaderships of Russia and China over what it calls the “inevitable wrath” of the United States.
