White House Approves 16th Weapons Transfer to Ukraine, Total Security Aid Now Over $8 Billion
The White House announced a $270 million weapons package Kiev on Friday (July 22). The latest transfer will send four additional High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, or HIMARS and drones to Ukraine.
The additional four HIMARS brings the total number the US has committed to sending to Ukraine to 16. Commander of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley said the other 12 HIMARS have reached Ukraine and have not been destroyed by Russia. The US has provided Ukraine with rockets that can be fired 50 miles by the rocket systems.
The package also includes 36,000 rounds of artillery ammunition for howitzers and 560 Phoenix Ghost tactical drones.
The latest transfer is the 17th approved by the White House since Russia invaded Ukraine in February. The Biden administration has now committed over $8 billion in weapons to Kiev’s fight.

🇺🇸@COVID19Up: The Biden administration and Big Pharma are using COVID-19 as an excuse to circumvent your doctor and make decisions about your health, warns Dr. Pierre Kory in a new article published Saturday (July 22) in the Federalist.
Biden's presidency has continued to fall fantastically short of the promises that drew many Democrats—including Dr. Pierre Kory—to his candidacy in 2020: the pledge for a new strategy against COVID-19.
What a mess.
"Consider the FDA's recent decision allowing pharmacists to play doctor and prescribe Pfizer’s anti-viral treatment Paxlovid," Dr. Kory writes. "Why is the FDA encouraging this?"
The answer that has emerged to anyone following the plight of independent doctors the last two years is not very encouraging.
"Our public health agencies—heavily influenced by the pharmaceutical industry and beholden to Biden’s 'vaccine first' approach—are committed to diminishing the medical profession and centralizing authority with bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. They have prosecuted a relentless campaign to reduce physicians to cogs in a health care system that is aggressively transforming all medical professionals from providers to prescribers," explains Dr. Kory.
"FDA granted Pfizer emergency use authorization for the drug after a single trial with questionable results. The medicine has many contraindications, meaning it can’t be taken by someone who simultaneously would be taking certain anti-depressants, anti-seizure, anti-psychotic, cholesterol, or blood pressure medications."
The problems with Paxlovid are widespread and no secret—yet the mass roll out is still happening. In fact as Pierre points out, nearly half of American adults cannot even take Paxlovid, given that they have cardiovascular disease.
"Nevertheless, pharmacies have spent months and millions of dollars lobbying for the right to play doctor and prescribe Paxlovid," Dr. Kory continues.
"The pharmaceutical industry, led by Pfizer and in league with the Biden administration, is waging war against independent doctors who refuse to cede control over patient well-being—and they are winning."

This fascinating technique called NGS (next generation sequencing) purports to enable rapid sequencing of EVERYTHING in a given sample. A swab, say.
If you’ve the patience to watch it, observe the enormous number of reactions, all of which must reach equilibrium for the results to provide only unequivocal sequences. But that’s only the beginning. Now all the chopped up little sequences, which in a swab, might come from human cells as scraped off a nasal epithelium, fungal spores, bacteria & viruses which, by mass, will be present in a huge range of masses.
I’m sceptical that this, used alone, should be used to sequence alleged viruses.
Anything so complicated & in places, proprietary (they then don’t fully disclose the method & all additions) makes it near impossible to interrogate.
That makes it not ok for certain purposes.
While I’m making no specific accusations, I see ways in which the outcomes could be manipulated & that be unlikely ever to be discovered. The joining in silico of small sequences using what are called contigs must use boundary conditions in order that an algorithm decide what to do with emerging information.
If this was the only sequencing technique available & if it was being used in the service of people I no longer trust, I’d be looking for additional techniques, working blind, to make independent determinations of sequences.
I wouldn’t have thought this way at all, say five years ago.
Now almost nothing is going to be taken on trust, especially if it’s complex & had hints of hidden wizardry about it.
We also need more than sequencing alone, no matter how well it’s done .

New York National Guardsmen to Take Over Training Ukrainian Soldiers
More than 100 New York Army National Guardsmen from the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team deployed July 15 to train Ukrainian soldiers to fight Russia.
The 140 New York Guard soldiers will first complete additional training at Fort Bliss, Texas, before replacing 160 Florida Guard soldiers in Germany. The Florida Guard forces deployed in November 2021 and currently are representing the U.S. within the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine.
Armed forces from Canada, Lithuania, Denmark, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom have also been involved in training Ukrainian troops.
The Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine mission has been active since 2015.
