The draft Online Safety Bill, published in May 2021, was subject to pre-legislative scrutiny by a Joint Committee of the two Houses of Parliament.

Increased emergency cardiovascular events among under-40 population in Israel during vaccine rollout and third COVID-19 wave

"Using Negative Binomial regression models, the weekly emergency call counts were significantly associated with the rates of 1st and 2nd vaccine doses administered to this age group but were not with COVID-19 infection rates. While not establishing causal relationships, the findings raise concerns regarding vaccine-induced undetected severe cardiovascular side-effects and underscore the already established causal relationship between vaccines and myocarditis, a frequent cause of unexpected cardiac arrest in young individuals.

The main finding of this study concerns with increases of over 25% in both the number of CA [Cardiac Arrest] calls and ACS [Acute Coronary Syndrome] calls of people in the 16–39 age group during the COVID-19 vaccination rollout in Israel (January–May, 2021), compared with the same period of time in prior years (2019 and 2020), as shown in Table 1. Moreover, there is a robust and statistically significant association between the weekly CA and ACS call counts, and the rates of 1st and 2nd vaccine doses administered to this age group. At the same time there is no observed statistically significant association between COVID-19 infection rates and the CA and ACS call counts. This result is aligned with previous findings which show increases in overall CA incidence were not always associated with higher COVID-19 infections rates at a population level35,49,50, as well as the stability of hospitalization rates related to myocardial infarction throughout the initial COVID-19 wave compared to pre-pandemic baselines in Israel51.

These results also are mirrored by a report of increased emergency department visits with cardiovascular complaints during the vaccination rollout in Germany as well as increased EMS calls for cardiac incidents in Scotland."

UKMFA Open Letter to NHS Trust CEOs re Unethical and Restrictive Hospital Visitor Policies

The UK Medical Freedom Alliance has written to NHS Hospital Trust CEOs to demand the immediate implementation of recently published NHS guidance stating that “No patient should have to attend a hospital appointment alone”.

We appeal to them to remove ALL Covid-related restrictions on the visitation of hospitalised patients or the accompanying/chaperoning of outpatients and A&E attendees, which have led to countless patients being cruelly deprived of company and support from their family and friends during times of vulnerability and suffering. These policies are disproportionate, unethical and inhuman, and the legal right to be accompanied to medical appointments and to receive healthy visitors in hospital must be upheld at all times.

We also demand that visitors should not themselves be subject to medical interventions (e.g. face masks, Covid-19 testing or vaccination) as a condition of entry.

We outline the legal and ethical duties of care that hospitals are required to give to their patients under the NHS Constitution, GMC and NMC Professional Codes of Practice, and UK and International Law.

CALL TO ACTION: If your local hospital is still restricting visitors in this way please hand deliver our letter to your CEO/hospital and encourage other local residents to do the same. Also please involve your local media and social media in applying pressure to encourage a change in policy.

UNDOING THE "NIXON SHOCK" OF 1971: RUSSIA'S "BRETTON-WOODS" 2.0?

"The Nixon shock was a series of economic measures undertaken by United States President Richard Nixon in 1971, [ALLEGEDLY] in response to increasing inflation, the most significant of which were wage and price freezes, surcharges on imports, and the unilateral cancellation of the direct international convertibility of the United States dollar to gold.

While Nixon publicly stated his intention to resume direct convertibility of the dollar with gold after reforms to the Bretton Woods system had been implemented, all attempts at reform proved unsuccessful. By 1973, the Bretton Woods system was replaced de facto by the current regime based on freely floating fiat currencies.

Under Bretton-Woods, countries settled their international accounts in dollars that could be converted to gold at a fixed exchange rate of $35 per ounce, which was redeemable by the U.S. government. Thus, the United States was committed to backing every dollar overseas with gold, and other currencies were pegged to the dollar.

The Nixon Shock has been widely considered to be a political success, but an economic failure in bringing on the stagflation of the 1970s and leading to the instability of floating currencies. The dollar plunged by a third during the 1970s.

Even much later, in 2011, Paul Volcker expressed regret over the abandonment of Bretton Woods: "Nobody's in charge," Volcker said. "The Europeans couldn't live with the uncertainty and made their own currency and now that's in trouble.

Debates over the Nixon Shock have persisted to the present day, with economists and politicians across the political spectrum trying to make sense of the Nixon Shock and its impact on monetary policy in the light of the financial crisis of 2007–2008."

Now Russia is implemeting its own "Bretton-Woods" by asking for gas payments in Rubles, while seeking to back the Ruble further by pegging it to a basket of commodities including gold.

If the West does not follow suit, the dollar will only be backed by Saudi Arabia selling oil in dollars and by military power, which may soon be challenged further by a China-India-Russia axis of military resistance to US hegemony.

The safer bet would be to peg the dollar back to gold, instead of backing it with wars.
