Wall Street Journal: Zelensky Rejected Peace Offer Days Before Russian Offensive

German chancellor Olaf Scholz had offered Volodymyr Zelensky a chance for peace just days before the launch of the Russian military offensive, but the Ukrainian president turned it down, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has reported.

Scholz had made what the WSJ described as “one last push for a settlement between Moscow and Kiev” less than a week before the Russian forces were sent into Ukraine on February 24.

The chancellor told Zelensky in Munich on February 19 “that Ukraine should renounce its NATO aspirations and declare neutrality as part of a wider European security deal between the West and Russia,” the paper writes. The daily also claims that “the pact would be signed by Mr. Putin and Mr. Biden, who would jointly guarantee Ukraine’s security.”

However, Zelensky rejected the offer to make the concession and avoid confrontation, saying that “Putin couldn’t be trusted to uphold such an agreement and that most Ukrainians wanted to join NATO,” the WSJ reports, without revealing its sources for the information.

“His answer left German officials worried that the chances of peace were fading,” the report points out.

On Tuesday 29th March 2022 Sir Christopher Chope (“Sir Christopher”), Conservative MP for Christchurch told the House of Commons “This Government’s approach seems to be to try to promote vaccine confidence by covering up the adverse consequences for some of having been vaccinated.” Sir Christopher was speaking in relation to his Private Members Bill - the "Covid-19 Vaccine Damage Bill 2021” (the “Bill”) which is a Bill to require the Secretary of State to establish an independent review of disablement caused by Covid-19 “vaccinations” and the adequacy of the compensation offered to persons so disabled. The Bill will get a second reading on Friday 6th May 2022. I agree with Sir Christopher wholeheartedly - the Government is ignoring those injured and bereaved by the Covid-19 “vaccines” and there is a need for a new vaccine injury bill.

Sir Christopher’s speech included the following points:

"No payments have yet been made . . . even in respect of those whom a coroner’s verdict found to have died because of the vaccine. The impatience and frustration of those so affected is now palpable. Having lost their loved ones more than a year ago, some have been badgering the Under-Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, my Hon Friend the Member for Lewes [Maria Caulfield], for action — I am pleased to see her on the Front Bench. I understand that yesterday she blocked vaccine victims on her Twitter account and today she closed her Twitter account completely. This is an indication of the strength of feeling among the public.”

"Those who were in perfect health before their vaccine have encountered too much ignorance and scepticism when seeking medical help. For some, their general practitioner has refused to engage, to the extent that they are made to feel gaslighted, with their physical pain being dismissed or explained away as mental illness. How insulting and humiliating is that and how at odds with the principles of the national health service?”

Through an organisation, UK Citizen, I am aware of two hundred and fifty (250) formal Covid-19 vaccine injury statements been made and subsequently lodged with the police. In addition there were many more people who came forward to share their experience of vaccine injury and bereavement, but who were not comfortable filing a formal witness statement. The gaslighting of the Covid-19 “vaccine” injured and bereaved must stop.

The public should have been told, at the outset, that the Covid-19 “vaccines” were (and are) experimental and remain in clinical trial. This did not happen, “informed consent" was consequently not possible - the Government failed the public. Subsequently, the Government used coercive methods to get the public to take the Covid-19 “vaccines” in contravention of the principles of public service as enshrined in the Nolan Principles. Now the Government is failing to recognise that there are adverse effects from the “vaccines” - this is simply unconscionable. The Government must make the public aware of the risks involved in taking the Covid-19 “vaccines”; be transparent about injuries and deaths; and provide care and compensation for those injured or bereaved.

Clause 1(2)(a) of the Bill provides that the review must consider the effectiveness of MHRA in the monitoring of side effects and the NHS and Government response to such monitoring - it is evident from everything stated above that such a review is vital. Sir Christopher’s "Covid-19 Vaccine Damage Bill 2021” must be supported.

I commend Sir Christopher for making a stand for truth and for attempting to give a voice to those "vaccine” harmed or bereaved. Please confirm that you will be supporting Sir Christopher's Bill - any other position is morally and ethically wrong.

"A bunch of things have been normalized in the process of justifying the US proxy war against the resource rich country that doesn’t necessarily go along with the western capitalist hegemony, like trying to use its resources for itself, instead of sharing them with the western oligarchs, for example.

Now people can be tied up outside face bloodied or painted green with their pants down. Prisoners of war can be brutally tortured and murdered and their ordeals can be displayed for all to see on the internet. Those were used to be war crimes.

Speaking of war crimes, there are mass graves in Donbas where Russian speaking people have been bombed almost daily for 8 years. “Genocide” has been fully used to embark on colonial wars when its convenient, but CNN isn’t talking about it. I guess it’s pretty normal now to find enemy civilians slaughtered and buried with their hands tied behind their backs with bullet holes in their heads.

But there is no Nazi, they say. They are brave fighters fighting against an evil incarnation who is worse than Hitler, they say. That makes sense considering the fact that the puppet regime worships Nazi war criminals, naming their streets after them. They can’t be in bed with Hitler if their enemy isn’t worse than him.

But seriously, it’s chilling to feel that it is acceptable now to exclude your fellow humans within your communities just because he or she has varying opinions on this imperial proxy war. Not just cheering for the pawns for their empire, they must hunt down dissidents and take them out of community positions, exclude them and shame them because they are “spreading misinformation” and “siding with the enemy”. It’s ironic that they deny Nazism in Ukraine while acting sort of like Nazis. Chickens come home and roost instantly when people’s guiding principles are virtually identical to the imperial imperatives.

But, I still want to think that most of us recognize the gruesomely irrational nature of the current war mobilization. What would be the consequence of arming Ukraine and censoring inconvenient facts of this 8 year conflict would be? If we set aside our emotions and ignore the TV talking heads, we should be able to see the pattern. The pattern of the US empire demonizing a foreign leader, encircling the country militarily/economically, subjecting it to debilitating sanctions/embargoes, arming terror groups in destabilizing the social structure and finally succeeding to drag it onto a stage of war—a rare field in which the empire far exceeds any countries on the planet in its proficiency.

Stop the nonsense of Russophobia. Russia’s economy is about the size of Texas. South Korea has a bigger economy than Russia. Russia doesn’t have 900 military bases like the US. But it does have huge land filled with natural resources.

No one wins except for the war profiteers and colonizers. Everyone else suffers. But most of all, those who are supposedly being helped by the west suffer the most. Right before February 24th, I saw a picture of anti-war protesters right in front of the US embassy in Ukraine, demanding the US stop arming Ukraine. Who want their communities turned into war zones and forced to stand with a Nazi who sticks a knife in an eye of a prisoner of war and shouts “glory to Ukraine”?"

Then they mention the war, but omit any mention that it's not the war but the quantitative easing following the 2008 "banking crisis" causing inflation and the lockdowns followed by sanctions which are creating any supply chain shortages. Propaganda in action. Sanctions are a fait accompli, they are not in question. It's "the war" instead.
