MHRA states that over 21.7million (last week 19 million) boosters / third dose injections have now been administered in the UK

Take up is much lower on average in Northern Ireland and higher than average in Scotland.

The MHRA is now reporting in its weekly update report on the number of people being injured by the “Booster” Covid-19 injections.

It is not clear if these cases of harm are included in the overall list of UK adverse events and deaths reported for the UK by the MHRA.

We have raised an FOI request to establish the correct position.

In their latest write up the MHRA report that to the 8th December 18,554 reports have been raised about injury following “booster” injections, no information is given as to whether any of these reports also include cases where the person has died following the Covid-19 injections.

30% of the UK population (adults and children) has either not received any dose or no second dose of a Covid-19 injection (per MHRA).

Over 4.5 million people have received a first dose but have not yet received a second dose and over 15.6 million have received no dose at all. MHRA suggests 163,172 doses were administered to those with no previous dose and only 45,403 doses to those who had not yet had their second dose.

UK – HARM TO CHILDREN – COVID-19 INJECTIONS

The MHRA is now reporting in its weekly update report on the number of children being injured by the Covid-19 injections.

All 3 of the UK injection brands have now been administered to children.

It is not clear if these cases of harm are included in the overall adverse events and deaths reported for the UK by the MHRA. We have raised an FOI request to establish the correct position.

In their latest write up the MHRA report that to the 8th December 2,344 reports have been raised about harm to children, no information has been given as to whether any of these reports also include cases where a child has died following a Covid-19 injections.

“The experience reported in under 18s is similar to that identified in the general population and a review of these reports does not raise any additional safety topics specific to this age group”
