🇷🇺 - The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened criminal proceedings against Popcorn Books, a Moscow bookstore, for promoting homosexuality. Among other pro-sodomy items, the bookstore sold a novel entitled "Summer in a Pioneer Tie" which was aimed at minors and described a pedophilic relationship between a Komsomol leader and a teenager in the USSR.

If the case is successful, the owners of the bookstore will be the first people to be convicted under Russia's new law on "non-traditional sexual relations".
