Note, no sirens were activated in the south recently, and unusual for Riyadh to allow such incidents to even be reported openly, unless the Kingdom is gearing its population for a potential new-war with the al-Houthi forces? Two weeks ago, al-Hadaath openly aired destruction to civilian properties in the south of the country from Ansarullah shelling, something that would normally be unheard of from Saudi state-owned outlets.

🇾🇪🇸🇦⚡- Several Saudi / Yemeni airstrikes struck al-Ma'Kashah in the Hayfan area of southeast Ta'izz, Ansarullah-controlled southern Yemen.

🇾🇪⚡- Ansarullah may be preparing to launch a major offensive against Jabal Habashi, the PLC's last significant stronghold in the northwestern Ta'izz direction, within the coming hours.

Large al-Houthi convoys have been arriving in the al-Jinan area over the past 30 to 60 minutes, with movements still ongoing at this very moment. The reinforcements appear to be originating from the Red Sea coast and are travelling along the N3 highway via al-Mafraq and the Khalid bin Walid Military Camp. The forces make a temporary stop in the town of al-Rahba before continuing towards Jabal al-Jinan.

🇾🇪⚡- Initial reports: Muhammad Sharaf Adla, Deputy Director of the Office of Ansarullah's Chief Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, was killed in an airstrike in the al-Mocha area, southwest Yemen.

🇾🇪⚡️- BREAKING: Ansarullah has planted mines in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a Yemeni military source tells Al Arabiya.

🇮🇷⚡️- Explosion heard in the Strait of Hormuz.

🇾🇪⚡- Ansarullah have gone on the offensive and have begun attacking Sharira in an attempt to advance towards Jabal Jirdad - southwest Ta'izz countryside.

🇾🇪 - In the past hour, Yemeni sources have around the globe telling every major outlet that Ansarullah have "laid mines in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait."

Note, the original claim was made by the Yemeni and then the Saudi representatives at the UN Security Council (chaired by Saudi Arabia and the UK) over the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb. The UNSC meeting ended a little over an hour ago.

These claims were then echoed by Saudi media, from internal media to Riyadh-owned international outlets, including al-Arabiya, as Rerum Novarum reported earlier.

There is currently no evidence of the laying of mines in the Bab el-Mandeb. The claims by the UNSC representatives and Saudi media seem to be yet another attempt by Riyadh to turn the Yemeni file into an international cause, and to get the US, the UK, and the EU to support its cause.

A similar attempt was made earlier, targeting the global Muslim population, over the alleged 'Mecca attack'.
